If you’re feeling overwhelmed in this hour of need and great upheaval… pray. It might sound like the cliche answer, but prayer is the like the arrow that is released from the bow of faith… and strikes directly into the bullseye of the enemies plans. It helps our hearts to realize too… we have a greater power on our side: God Almighty. He is faithful to deliver us.

If you are still praying with us for the 90 days of prayer for the elections, be sure to include Florida. If you have eyes to see, you’ll recognize, this is not just typical hurricane season. This is spiritual.

We are not helpless to do nothing, we are called to pray.

Pray, friends, pray. And watch God turn the tide of the battles at hand as we do. 🙏🏼

Seven years ago, I opened up my first and only business, Poochville. My ulterior motive was to save more dogs with the business paying the bills After five years, I let my lease expire and we eventually closed the business. The stress was too much, and we never made any money, (COVID didn’t help) - always playing catch up., I knew it needed to be just a rescue facility. We have saved LOTS of dogs there. We were able to house foster’s dogs, when they left town and needed respite. We were able to groom all of our dogs there. We made many connections there.

Forward to today and I am filled with the deepest sadness. Our Landlord asked us for a bid to buy the building and we submitted all we could possibly afford.

He let us know this week that he was selling to someone else.

So, we would appreciate your prayers for our employees who have been with us for so many years, as they have lost their jobs, and deeply love the dogs who live there Pray for our Groomer, who has been with me 6 years has lost her job. Several of the staff live there so they are going to be losing their homes. This is beyond heartbreaking!
We also need to move all of our dogs that are there by July 1st. We have no plans right now but are looking for places for them to go, and we hope for adoptions to happen. We are looking for partnerships so that we can continue to offer the things we did at the facility. We are all in shock, but we are so grateful we had what we had and were able to do what we did!

I know that even though this is painful and hard, and ny heart is shattered my dreams are not. We have a great future and will be excited to see what’s on the horizon.

We certainly know that God has a plan for HIS canines with us.

Meet Brinkley. She is a new arrival from a local shelter - she was tied up to a bench when they found her. She is a very sweet pup that only weighs 34 pounds. She is approximately 9 months old. She has the most stunning eyes and a sprinkling of cute freckles across her nose! At the shelter she was shaking like a leaf and was very fearful and timid when she initially entered..She is now a bit shy but warms up quickly. She is very friendly and loves receiving strokes and petting. She also walks well on a leash. She does not like loud dogs barking at her so that didn’t help at the shelter either but she shows no aggression.

She whined occasionally, and the shelter took that to mean she’s missing her people and is expecting to be reunited with them. However, no one has went looking for this youngster. She was found tied to a post. We rescued her so now she is needing a new home with people who will shower her with TLC and stay committed to her. She is just adorable.

You might remember me as Lilly but as I settled into my new foster home my foster family decided I deserved more than the shelter name I came with so I’m officially

Named by my foster sister who has no hair, runs on two legs but gives me so much love since coming here! My foster mom says I still need some more time here to get caught up on my training and manners but I’ll be available soon for adoption 💜 until then you can keep up on my life here on stories!

Santa brought Mavie a surprise…. DNA test

This little guy has us stumped! He looked like a fuzzy teddy bear when we got him BUT like someone had literally TAPED a raccoon tail to him (see picture 2 and 3). Tho as he has grown all you can see is the littlest black on the tip of his tail.

now he looks like all golden retriever and we want to know what gave him such a cute tail when he was little.

but sweet boy it will NOT matter what kind of pup you are we are going to love every little piece of you for all of your life ❤

Congratulations to one of our first foster pups on finding an INCREDIBLE FUR-ever home and becoming Ford Walker.

You are going to not only continue to grow into the most incredible dog but you will have the most fun, absolutely thrive and receive more cuddles, than you could have ever hoped, just as you love.

I truly wasn’t sure we would be able to let him go but there is a quote I love “You know you’ve made the right decision when their is peace in your heart and freedom in your soul”, and I unequivocally feel both.

The gratitude to God for bringing this incredible family into his life is indescribable. The beginning of his life was hard yet he still had a gentle, sweet heart and would cuddle all day. We new he had to have a home that would encourage and support that and we knew after talking to them for just a few minutes they would and that confidence has only grown the more we talk and see y’all together!

His fur-ever home is even more than what our family prayed for him to find every night since we began fostering him. Thank you for loving and spoiling him just as we would and for inviting us to watch him grow! 🐾

We’ll have our RESCUE ADOPTION BUS on-site for viewing some of our adoptable pets and also some awesome t-shirts, tanks and long sleeved shirts for sale to support the rescue. Social distancing protocols will be observed.

Welcome to Mad About Fostering!

I’m living my dream by fostering ❤️ but my momma runs this page.

Our family are recent-ish transplants to Texas tho my momma says her hearts always been meant to be here. We have 3 dogs and the newest one is ALLLL mine but I want ALL the floofs!

I’ve been raised to find something I can help with and put my whole heart into that thing. Momma & I settled on letting me foster. I hope you will stick around to enjoy our floofs and fosters!
