👀RESCUE MISSION👀Tony and I built basically a 2x3 c&c style cage with a bottom attached. I zip tide cardboard on the flooring and placed a pee pad on top so I can change it out if need be. The top has cardboard with water proof plastic to hopefully keep this warm and dry. It is full of hay, water bottle and a bowl of pellets. If you see movement you can close the door. I have two tunnels leading up to the door. For now you can use a tunnel to keep the door shut. I will find some kind of clips to place on the door to use if they are in it so it can be clipped shut. I need as many volunteers as possible to stop by and check the cage to see if they are in it to close them in and trap them. The more people who do so the more chances we have of saving them. Pretty Please do this act of kindness. I want them to be saved by Guinea pig guardian angels instead of any alternatives. Please only leave proper veggies in or very close to the cage. We need them to stay in this area. Tonight I only saw the black one. Today the area was cleared more. This is very hard to do on your belly half way under a fence. I created a flat area to place hay and hides. I am going to zip tie some c&c grids together with one end slightly open to place around the hay in hopes to trap them in that area. They will not go near traps or carriers no matter what is placed in them. While I was under the fence I thought I saw a third Guinea pig. To my surprise is was a rat. It is very hard to wiggle my way back out from under the fence once I am under it.💜👑♾️
I was thinking about this situation today after Queen Creature was surrendered. I promised Queen Miley I would honor her by bringing in more joy, love and laughter. I believe we are. We have Joy, we just need to capture love and laughter. 💜👑♾️
This task has felt impossible. I am finding creative ways to help make it possible. We are so close to holding them. I just know it! 💜👑♾️
👑KING DALE👑 I tried my best to keep it together so he was not able to sense my emotional break down. I nervously played with his hair in hopes to hold back my tears. I tried to make a video so you all could say good bye as well to our sweet King Dale but I could not control my emotions. I know deep in my soul that it was the right thing to do for him. Dr. Logan was able to confirm by exam that it was the right choice. Once we process, I will honor his life and make a beautiful post. I will also make one for King Honey Bee. For me I believe this process will not become easier because it feels harder each time. 💔I love you King Dale To Infinity and Beyond. May your Forever Kingdom embrace you and give you the ability to be the spit fire spunky you that we grew to love and cherish.
We are still working on finding a way to save these babies in the wetlands. This was yesterday. Our rescue and two other rescues are working on a plan to get in the fenced area and finally save them. This is a tremendous challenge that will take many of us to accomplish. Please be positive and encouraging while we find the time and make a plan.
👀RESCUE MISSION👀Around nine am two were spotted. If you are facing the marker on the fence and go to the right of the fence to the corner is where they were. Emma was able to give them Guinea pig pellets and they ate them. I am tied up at the moment and I am not able to make it to the area. When I am able I will make another marker where she saw them. My hope is to get in touch with CJ today the office manager and ask where the access is if there is one to go inside. This is very tough. 😭
King Dale has not been able to pick up his head. He just did and we were able to give him his favorite thing!! Chin Rubs!!💜💪
I have been told they come out and eat the grass by the one minute marker on the video. We will not be able to leave our equipment that we use to capture them for reasons I would rather not say. So this means this will be a camp out and wait for their arrival. My plan is to mark the area in the fence so others know where they like to say Hi. 🙏🏻PRAYERS & POSITIVE VIBES NEEDED🤞🏻King Tortilla has become a Royal friend of ours. He is one of Dr. Logan’s patients. Dr. Logan connected us with his owner because he found a bladder stone and knew we could help. King Tortilla was taking a regimen that we created to help get rid of bladder stones. The last few weeks he was showing positive change. Last night in the middle of the night his owner sent me this video. I knew the stone had moved and he had a possible partial or complete blockage. She rushed him to the ER. Sure enough the stone did move and caused a partial blockage. He had the stone surgically removed last night and will be at the hospital for 24-48 hours for observation. King Tortilla’s family misses him dearly. We are asking for PRAYERS & POSITIVE VIBES and so much love to be sent to King Tortilla and his family waiting for his return. 💜👑♾️Thank you to Dr. Logan for connecting us and wanting us to be a big part of King Tortilla’s care. 👑WE ARE ROYALS👑Princess French Toast and Princess S’more were adopted back in July of 2022. They celebrated their first birthday today on 5/4. I wanted to share their Royal birthday party with everyone. Noelle was so kind to share this beautiful celebration with us. I love that the girls new family took it to heart and truly treats them like the royalty that they are. WE ARE ROYALS!! Please don’t forget it. The video is our proof! 💜👑♾️Their brothers King Snickerdoodle and King Flower were also celebrated today for their first birthday. We are boarding their Moms currently. I think it is precious that the Kings were able to celebrate with their Moms here at the kingdom. That is probably the best gift we could give them besides a forever castle! I am sorry that I don’t think to share adoption success updates. You are the heart of our rescue and from this point forward I will share the joys and true happiness of seeing our Royals thrive in their forever castles. 👀SICK BABIES❤️🩹PLEASE SHARETwo babies at local pet store. I know it is hard to tell but the long haired baby’s eyes are both glued shut from illness. You can see the other baby has crusty eyes also. They were sneezing, fighting and breathing was irregular. The long haired one had a crusty nose as well. I alerted the manager who is a very nice guy who cares. I offered my assistance but they have protocols in place.If you are the breeder who is local who sells Guinea pigs in lake Stevens Washington, please contact me. I would love to help you figure out why the majority of your Guinea pigs are sick. I would love to involve the pet store when we meet. They feel they might need better bedding or any other solution to help while they wait for their homes. We all have common ground here and want what is best for these sweet souls. This is not to call you out or criticize you. This is a genuine helping hand coming from the heart, I just want to help. Please share in hopes to reach this breeder. Positive change is needed.
