Missies first trail ride ever and she led the way with confidence and enthusiasm with no spook! This is a crazy horse sale time, mid price horses seem to be unsellable, but this is one special girl when I do finally sell her….unless I sell Tika lol

Mr. Mouser injured his leg very badly and has become a temporary house cat. Lady has been forcing her love in him and today he accepted….and she looks terrified to move lol

Haven’t crafted for a bit, but made this one from my new horses shoe to give to the new previous owner, added some shiny beads for some sparkle. Rose quarts is supposed to represent love and this girl loves this horse, and now she’ll keep a part of her with her forever

Whoop, finally got a shed in the other field! This field is a lot less mucky in the rain, so it will be the new winter/wet weather field and the other field I’ll harrow and plant in the spring!

Finally got around to switching stall plates around and buying new ones for Missie and Pina. I thought it would be a nice tradition to get plates even for my projects and when they sell I can hang them in the barn and always remember the lessons they taught me. With Pina now, I’ll have to start more actively trying to sell Missie

Winter prep has begun, I’ve put most of my jumps and poles away but one pattern and two little jumps and I put out my ‘winter’ poles

So Mr. Skunkers went to his new home inside today, since he really seemed to want to be an indoor kitty, so today I welcome a new barn cat rescue. Welcome Turtle to the cat crew! This guy is very shy with new people so I’m hoping he won’t be trying to break into the Neighbors houses lol

So….it’s Monday, and did I get all my projects done, pretty much! Let’s do a recap of this summers projects 1. Weeping tile -done. 2. Finish up trim on sheds - done. 3. Mini stalls - done. 4. Hay shed - kinda/bought a tent lol. 5. Cribs for fields -done. 6. Cribs for stalls - done. 7. Mats in fields - done. And my last project was to get a little garden area done for next spring, its not pretty but it’s done, just needs a gate and to add manure and top soil next spring, for now it will stay covered in a tarp to keep the w**ds from growing!

The minis had their first cart experience today! I started them on the harness in the middle of winter and have just been waiting till they got older to try the cart!

So I’m farm things that happened today, I went to pick up more stall mats and came home with a new barn cat, meet Squirrel, and miss Mable also lost her pony virginity today😳, was not expecting that, but I took her out for a bath and when I put her back in, she was literally being mounted as I took the bridal off….girl looked good after that bath lmao

Here’s three days of Missie being in the field, not one p**p on the mat, let’s see what tomorrow will look like with the other horses back in the field and an un-named lazy horse who does not leave the food station to p**p!

Have been working on cribs for the barn today and getting the stalls ready for the cold weather. So why the cribs? Again will help to reduce hay waste and make my stalls easier to clean. The horses won’t pull the hay and step and p*e and poo in it. Also for my compost, the hay can lead to more w**d growth in peoples gardens

Hard at work today trying to finish up all the little projects, and getting stuff ready for a surprise coming tomorrow. Today I finished the slow feeder I was working on, and built a little roof over top of it to protect the hay. What do you guys think of the home made slow feeder!
