Is it true that the Kitten is safe?

I get many questions about shipping a kitten; people want to know if it’s healthy and how it works.

Isn’t he/she going to be scared? How much time does it take?

Isn’t it going to be tough for the Kitten to be alone in a crate for such a long time?

This is how I describe the shipping process to people so that they can feel more at ease about having a Kitten.

Shipping a kitten is extremely safe: see the details below. Shipping a Kitten to a new location by itself sounds cruel and humiliating, but I believe it is more difficult for us than for the Kitten (s). With my many years of shipping experience, I can confidently state that all of the Kittens are in good hands. So, if you think about it, the airlines aren’t going to mistreat the Kitten (s) for fear of being sued and losing customers. I tape Kitten (s) food and feeding instructions to the top of the crate and fill it with frozen water so it can eventually thaw for the Kitten (s), and they will be given food during the journey.

The average flight time is between 4 and 6 hours. However, I still inquire about any delays or layovers and the exact times and departures of the flights, so I am aware of where the Kitten is and can provide you with the necessary details.

The Kitten will be delivered the same day it is shipped, normally within a few hours. In the crate, I have a big fluffy bed of shredded newspapers for the Kitten (s) to snuggle in, as well as a pig’s ear chew (which they love) and a toy or sock with my scent on it–to make the Kitten feel safe.

We regard shipping as a possibility and make the necessary arrangements because, in most cases, we find suitable homes for our Kittens because they are not within driving distance. I know what question you’re thinking of right now: ‘Flying a Kitten’! Is it secure? This is a common topic. If it wasn’t, we wouldn’t even consider it.

On my first attempt to ship a Kitten a few years ago, I asked this question of the shipping company’s guy, and he replied, “When we book a flight for a Kitten, it is only on safe and licensed Airlines that have pet-safe programs that follow USDA guidelines.” The Kitten will breathe the same air as the pilot flying the aircraft, and someone will be on board to look after him or her. We don’t fly the Kitten in the plane’s cargo section; instead, they are transported in the passenger section with pet nannies before delivery is complete.

We still call ahead to book a flight for our Kittens and find the most direct flight available (much as if you were looking for a flight for yourself) Our Kittens have always arrived safely in their new homes, and he/she even said that “it is easier and more convenient to fly a Kitten on a 2-6 hour flight than to travel with that Kitten for 3/5 hour or more.” And I have such faith in them because I know they are professionals who can safely deliver the Kitten. Basically, transporting a kitten inside the United States, Canada, and the rest of the world.

SHIPPING

We ship our kittens using airlines because it is the fastest & safest way to transport our kittens from our place to yours especially if you live far away or in another state. Our kittens are shipped in an airline-approved plastic pet kennel that we customize depending on the weight of the kitten, the distance or duration of the journey. They ride in a special climate-controlled & pressurized compartment on the plane which is no different from the cabin. They are not in the same compartment as the passenger luggage.
Our shipping crates are clearly marked with colorful “LIVE ANIMALS” and “UP” stickers. We mark the crates clearly with the destination airport, the confirmation number, the phone & address of the customer. When we know that a kitten is going to be shipped, we play with them in the crate prior to shipping so they are used to it. They have never shown fear of the crate. We put lots of food & plenty of water in the shipping crate. The water provides all the moisture the kitten need during delivery. One reason we do this is in case, in the unlikely event the kitten should get stuck at an airport overnight (because of connecting flight trouble), we don’t have to worry if they have enough to eat or drink. Although traveling is not that hard on them, we do not like to make them spend any more time than absolutely necessary in transit. For this reason, we also look for the shortest route & always schedule direct flights if possible. We check weather conditions at the receiving end and only ship when we consider it safe to do so.
We put our kittens health above all other considerations and do not ship when we feel it could be dangerous to the kitten’s well-being. We usually ship Monday – Sunday. We guarantee a safe & healthy arrival of your kitten. We WILL NOT SHIP if we feel that weather conditions are hazardous for the kitten. Your kitten may take few days to adjust once they get to their new homes, sometimes it takes them a day or two to settle in, but by far, the vast majority of people tell us they just step right out of the shipping crate & act right at home.
We can also deliver your new kitten DIRECTLY into your arms!! We have reliable Airline Nanny’s that will fly with your kitten right to you. This is the safest, most reliable, and the least stressful way for your new kitten to be delivered to you. A kitten Nanny takes the kitten on board with them and they can give them the attention they need. We want the best possible care for your kitten.

Your kitten departs from the airport closest to us on Continental Airline’s Pet-Safe, to your nearest airport. He/she travels in a climate-controlled cabin area for pets. We make all the arrangements for you, and you pick your kitten up at the airport, just like picking up a person & you will need a reference/air bill number. kittens on planes are as safe as you or I flying. I have shipped cats for more than 14 years now. I always try to ship direct non-stop when flying kittens and adults.
