57 dogs were auctioned yesterday by representatives from Elders Rural Services, with 55 quality dogs selling for a combined sale value of $578,000 (exclusive GST), for an average of $10,509.

There was strong bidding on Auctions Plus, with 26 dogs selling via this platform. Dogs have been spread over 5 states and we congratulate all purchases and vendors for supporting our sale.

Top selling dog was sold by Brad Pellow with Lot 36, a 3 year old trained Kelpie, Harry, selling for $25750 to a buyer in the crowd.

Other notable sales: was 9 month old kelpie bitch, trained and sold by Adrian Allbut, Lot 46 DroversDream Trixie selling for $22,000 via Auctions Plus; and

Lot 31, 3.5 year old Trained Kelpie, Tundarbardi Murphy sold by Aoidh Doyle for $21,500.

Again we would like to thank all our sponsors, and everyone who has helped in anyway with our auction, with all proceeds being injected back into the local Jerilderie community via Apex Jerilderie.

I usually keep these great all round dogs but a change of circumstances means I just have too many and not enough work.

I had a great day in the bush yesterday with the kids and Claud. Got a few goats to top it off. However this video is about the kids learning to work the dogs and read their stock as we put a few goats in the yard.

Darren Park Rubble....was really that interested at all in sheep but switched on today. Glad he did, he's a really nice type of pup, and the pick of the litter. Still a couple in the litter that aren't doing much yet, but they will.

Welcome Darren Park Elsa.

Old Gift at Dubbo this morning. I wish she was 10 years younger and I had 10 of her. She's been such a fantastic dog for me.

Cassie with her first ever run. I was really happy with her today. Good things ahead.

Billy on her way to the pen this morning. She didn't work too badly.

Really happy with her first run. She's going to make a nice bitch and hopefully breed some pups! Got some nice feel for her sheep which is what I like.

It got the better of me.....I took the pups for a look at the sheep today. 5 weeks old and I think they are going to be little beauties!!
