A collaboration between mother and son, to co-create a range of effective and delicately scented, dog care products from simple, natural ingredients. Setting out with the intention to find a natural dog wash for our water-loving Labrador and land-loving Mini Bull Dogs, we created a simple natural solution that could be used regularly on their sensitive skin. The wash we developed alleviated proble

m scratching and itching and the combination of fragrant lavender and chamomile meant that they smelt great too. From this, the Calming Range - Wash and Conditioner 01 was born and The Hound Lab began to take shape. Crafted with care, we only produce small batch formulations, bottled and packed with love on our farm in the Byron Hinterland. Our range is all natural, vegan friendly and of course cruelty-free. These are dog care products you can feel good about and so can your dog. Our bottle labels show the Honest Contents of each product. There are no hidden nasties that make their way into our formulations. We only use quality, effective ingredients, sourced from Australian suppliers and where possible locally. Australian produced organic H**p Seed Oil is the unassuming hero ingredient within The Hound Lab range. Highly valued because of its perfect balance of Omega 3, 6 & 9 essential fatty acids, excellent for reducing symptoms of common skin disorders. The difference we aim to make to your world, is to help you have a happy, itch and scratch free hound that smells great too. Treading softly and minimising our impact on the planet in the way we create, produce, bottle and distribute will always be our aim.

Just as with our own feet, a pup's paws play an essential role in daily life. However, unlike often weirdly shaped human feet, dog paws are without question universally adorable. These cute little paw pads are seriously resilient.

Dogs traverse the world, whether rocky road or grassy slope, muddy paddock or a hot concrete path, our four-legged friends do this all essentially barefoot.

With that in mind it’s obvious why your pup's paws are so important and why an organic all-natural paw balm should be in your daily care routine 🐾.
