Roxie is 10 weeks old today. Her Dad is our beautiful black English Labrador Hawk, and her mom is who we call our Walmart greeter at the ranch.. Sophie (a chocolate Newfoundland)

This beautiful girl is already crate trained and well on her way to house breaking. She absolutely adores kids and has had a ton of socializing with them and other animals.
She would make an amazing soulmate companion dog or family member for someone who’s looking for a best friend. ❤️

Meet Honey 💗

Honey is just like her name …sweet as they come. She’s a 9 month old English Labrador who’s looking for her forever family.
Honey was being retained for our own breeding program, but we’ve made the decision to scale back for now.
She is true to type and has that beautiful laid back English Labrador temperament we know and love. She loves water (as you can see lol) and is happy to go for a swim, play fetch or just hang out around the fire.
She’s amazing with kids, great with other dogs …not so fond of cats though.
She’s 100% crate trained and house trained. Love car rides and would be amazing with a family or individual who’s looking for the perfect labrador to join their family.

Daisy Jones was held back from our last litter because she had a mild entropian.
After a little adjustment from our favourite vets ❤️ and lots of love and healing on the ranch she is now ready for her forever home. ❤️

A dogs purpose …
We believe that each of our puppies have come here seeking the perfect soulmate family for them, and their new owners.

Our beautiful Labernese pups are now searching for the perfect soulmate and just a few days away from being able to go to their new homes. ❤️

A few things to note:
- This will be the last litter from Jiggs and Hawk.
- The previous litter from these two have said how absolutely incredible their dogs are and how amazingly smart they are.
- They will be about the size of a Labrador.
- We are located in Edmonton Alberta, but we can help arrange flights for puppies at the new owners expense.
- We are very picky about where our puppies go, so we will want to speak to you on the phone and get to know you and your situation.

Our Labernese puppies are not just about putting two parents together to make a cute puppy.
Both Mom and Dad have been selected for their incredible ability to be natural born healers and extremely loyal and bonded with their owners.

Puppies will be medium size dogs (About English Lab size) and have a very laid back calm temperament, as both parents are extremely chill. They would make excellent companions for children, elderly, first time dog owners, or someone who needs the grounding and healing from having a fur baby by their side.

We are now taking pick spot deposits for our newest litter of puppies. 🥰

What you need to know:

- Puppies were born on January 12th, 2023 and won't be ready for their new homes until March 10th, 2023 at 8 weeks old.

- We have males & females. No one is spoken for at this time. A deposit on a puppy will give you a pick spot. (1st pick, 2nd pick, 3rd pick etc.) We don't believe in picking puppies based on colour, but instead on the right match of temperament and personality that fits with your family. We want to make sure each puppy and owner find the perfect soulmate match. (Remember a Dog Purpose .. let them find you)

- On March 10th appointments are booked in the order of puppy pick spots. You come pick out your puppy and take your puppy home the same day.

- We do ship puppies. We can do a Facetime with you when it's time and help you pick the right puppy for your family.

- Puppies come with their first set of shots, dewormer and a puppy pack to get you started, along with a lifetime of support from our family to yours.

- Cost of a puppy is $800.00 with 50% required to hold your pick.

The time has come ...

We are so excited to announce that we are now seeking the perfect soulmates for our Hawk & Jigg's litter of puppies.
Puppies are almost 2 weeks old now and will be ready for their new homes at 8 weeks of age.

At River Lane Ranch we make our primary focus breeding for temperament. This allows us to offer other families fur-babies that will fit with children, elderly, active or not so active, and everything in between.
We chose these two parents because of their empathic, intuitive, intelligent, compassionate, calm, docile and loving nature.
The feedback we got from last years puppies from the same mom and dad has been incredible!

Of all the litters of puppies we’ve had, these ones by far, have been the most laid back, mellow, relaxed and loving puppies.
They’ve honestly been so sweet and easy that we’ve had to keep reminding ourselves we have to post them to find their forever soulmate homes.❤️
This is our first Labernese litter and we think these pups got the best from both Mum and Dad. (Jiggs x Hawk)

You don’t have to live on a farm or acreage to own one of these guys. They’re low energy, lots of love and perfectly happy to be by your side.

Chunky Monkeys is what we’ve coined this litter as. 🥰
Our first batch of Labernese puppies have turned out absolutely beautiful.

But the most amazing thing we’ve noticed, is how docile and calm each puppy is. Mom and Dad have very sweet laid back temperaments and these puppies are by the far the most easy going, lazy puppy litter we’ve had. ❤️

Our Bernese girl Jiggs, and our stunning English Lab Hawk, have had their first litter of Labernese puppies!

Why did we breed them?

As many of our puppy owners already know, Hawk is the most intuitive, friendly, calm, connected labrador that we know. He has had several litters and each of the owners come back saying that they are sure their dogs meant to be their soulmates and the BEST they’ve ever had! ❤️
He is thick, stocky and blocky. Just an outstanding lab and example of the breed.

Our female Bernese is the sweetest and friendliest girl and continues to amaze us each day. Opening up her heart to everyone she meets and yet keeping a close eye on all the animals and family when they are out and about. She is the ultimate caregiver at our ranch.

These two have the perfect soulmate and heart dog for those who are looking. ❤️

Each of them are unique with their markings and colour and have big beautiful heads, thick bodies and are the all around the perfect family dog.

It was busy at River Lane Ranch this weekend! 12 beautiful Labernese puppies joined the world and we couldn't be more pleased with all of them! Everyone has a unique marking or colour each to their own. 🥰
Jiggs is the perfect first time Mom for having such a big litter and we are anxious to watch them grow and unfold into pure adorableness. ❤️
Labernese are known for being excellent family dogs who are very intuitive and deeply bonded and connected to their families.

June Carter stayed with us at RLR and she is learning her song ...

There are 6 puppies still here waiting for new owners to come pick them up, and 1 little boy still waiting to meet his soul mate family .... and Chevy and Payton aren’t ready to say goodbye even though the 8 week mark is here. The best part about Labs ... the souls they heal and lives they change.

The little ones are growing! This was their first time exploring their play centre! Stay tuned for more updates.

Where it began ....

Hawk....

He was a gift. The word gift doesn’t even feel like a big enough word for him. He was the saviour who came at a time in my life when I needed more emotional, mental and physical support than I think even I really knew. My Mom had passed away, I was just diagnosed with MS and had major back surgery. One of my best friends came to me with the news that their incredible male labrador Trigger (who I had always loved and admired) had a litter of puppies and they would like to give me one.

When Hawk came to me I knew he was the missing piece to a broken puzzle that needed to be completed. I knew almost immediately that he wouldn’t just be my missing piece...but that he would help many others in need. Puppies!

Hawk and I are inseparable. He is a phenomenal dog and one that when people meet him they are envious and jealous of the bond we have. We have complete trust of each other and know each other so well - that with just a glance he is already in sync or where I need him to be. There are so many in this world who need service dogs, emotional support dogs, family companions, anxiety relief dogs, PTSD dogs, tremor dogs..the list goes on and on. Many breeders have lost the ability to focus on temperament, intelligence and health. Instead they are more concerned with colour, shape, size, registration and show ribbons.
