A New Champion at Keowee Collies!

Reid -"What Dreams Are Made Of", won at the Georgia Collie Club Specialty & Clemson Dog Show this weekend. Reid was awarded Winner’s Dog and Best of Winner’s, a major win under judge Kathleen Long, earning his AKC Championship (pending verification) on Saturday. Sunday he went Select under judge Cindy Meyer, marking his first points as a Special entry toward Grand Champion.

McKenzie also made her appearance in the shows as a newbie to the show world.
We had a great weekend.

A huge thank you to Nick Joines and Joel McCarty of Sunway Presentations for their grooming, handling and support. A special shoutout to Amber Dobson for her bathing, grooming, and prepping Reid for the show.

Well, it is hard to believe, but our babies are 8 weeks old. It has been a busy time. Yesterday was Opthamologist eye checks so we were in the car with babies for 5 hours. Eyes are great and Dr. COMMENTED on how well socialized they are. Makes us collie moms very happy. Their DNA test are all back and since our Brodie, the sire, is clear on everything, they are all really great. Laura, Katie and I are sure going to miss these cuties

Keowee Collies have new babies and what a sweet litter they are; CH Keowee's Catch Me If You Can (Bailey) x Keowee’s Celtic Inspiration (Brodie) are the proud parents of 5 beautiful puppies. 1 Sable Male, 1 Tri-color male and 3 Tri-color females! Born on Monday, September 16th. All are doing great.

Puppy update week 8!
We have had so much fun this week! We have had beautiful weather to play outside. And we have had a lot of fun with family and friends! Grandmother Bonnie came and stayed with us on Friday.
It is picture overload but they are just so cute right now. And so much fun.
We had a very Happy Easter! But Mom missed getting our pictures with our Bunny Ears.

Puppy update week 7. This has been our best week yet. We got go outside and play! We love our new area. We can run and play with each other and with our dog family members. Thank you for all the great weather to play.

These 3 sweet puppies are 6 weeks old will be ready for their new homes on April 11th. Two boys and one girl.
They have been DNA tested through Wisdom Panel Optimal Selection recommended by the Collie Health Foundation and will have Eye checks by an ophtalmologist.
They have been raised in our South Carolina home and have been loved everyday. They are Healthy, Happy, and full of Life. They are just stinking cute and ready to love someone forever.

Puppy update week 5! We are having so much fun now. We are eating our cereal and we are learning to use our mats and paper. We are getting to go play in the big room where we can run and play. We love playing with all our toys. And, our favorite thing is playing with our people. Mom is in her happy playing with puppies. We had visitors this week. Life is good at Keowee Collies!
