It has been such a long time since I have posted!

Over the last couple of months I’ve had lots of ups and downs, wet paddocks, shorter days, sickness and a new job.

I decided to take a little break from my re trainers until I had enough time to dedicate to them, to make sure they get the best chance.
Training horses is still a huge passion and something I am going to continue now that the days are getting longer and paddocks will hopefully soon 🤞 start drying out.
Over the next moth things will slowly get rolling again and some old and new faces will start popping up! 🐴🐴

🐴 A new face will be up very shortly!

Something a little different for Arrow today to try and build some confidence 🐴☺️

Lots of positives and negatives from todays session but now we know our weaknesses and can start chipping away both long reigning and under saddle.

Millie is a 6yo 14hh mare. She has been in work 2/3 times a week for a couple of months now and is coming along nicely. She is an easy horse to work with, quiet and has super willing attitude.

She can be ridden in a group or alone. Has been ridden out through paddocks with a group and by herself. When with a group you can pull her out and do your own thing without a hassle.
She had attended ARC, where she stood around quietly and did a lesson. Could not fault her.
She has done a little bit of jumping where she showed ability over the fence and really enjoys it.
She would suit a anyone from a confident beginner (with guidance/lessons) to an intermediate rider.
She can get a little bit forward initially but has a very soft mouth and after a couple of minutes does need a little bit of a squeeze/kick to keep her going.
She has produced a lovely foal and was a super mum.

This mare could do almost anything. She is a special little mare and will only go to the best of homes where she can reach her full potential.

Over the weekend Millie had her first jump!

I was very very impressed, she was very willing and popped over everything I asked. Even trying a bigger jump towards the end.

She will make an amazing all rounder for a young rider or small adult! 🐴

Today was Millie’s first time off property 🐴

She continues to amaze me with how quiet and willing she is. Wasn’t fazed by being in a new place, multiple horses in our lesson or the tractor parked next to the arena. 😍

Another BIG boy to introduce 🐴 Clyde 🐴

Pacer, turned trotter and now a riding pony!
First ride today and didn’t put a foot wrong, walked around the round yard and already moving off leg.

Introducing Noah 🐴

This BIG boy has now had a few session of ground work and basics under his belt.
Today was my second time on his back and first time walking around! Did not care at all about me being on his back, even in this horrible wind.

First competition for Mac done and dusted!

Going with no expectations, we just wanted to go for the experience. To come home with two ribbons and taking out first place was a huge surprise 🐴

Millie made the most of the warm weather, going for a dip in the dam! Up to her belly in mud she enjoyed a good brush 😅🐴

She is slowly building up some muscle and is ready for a bit more work 😍

Arrow has a super jump but is lacking a bit of confidence. He improved so much between rounds and that’s all I wanted from him ❤️🐴

Joey update 🐴

Over the last couple of weeks I’ve had a lovely family come out to meet Joey.. and they picked him up Sunday!
He has found a lovely home and has settled in really well, already enjoying plenty of scratches ❤️

It’s time for this pretty girl to slowly come back into work 😍 She has had a fair bit of time off now on mum duty.
I have been so excited to bring her back in 🐴

Today we had the perfect morning for a trail ride with AK Equestrian ☀️

We both took the opportunity to take our own horses out to test a new spot! We had two very well behaved horses who were tested much.. much more than we anticipated.

Hoping to tackle this trail with a few new horses in the future 🐴
