Meet the CUTEST pair of BONDED brothers, Remy and Gus Gus 🫶🏼 (Remy-black and Gus-gray)…and they bring a new meaning to brotherly love❤️
Remy and Gus are said to be about 7 years old (likely siblings) and came in as strays. But after spending time with them today, they are absolutely bonded and we would love to keep them together. Unfortunately, it is not mandatory at mcacc.
So it’s up to us! These boys are so affectionate with each other and they can share food together.
Remy and Gus appear potty trained, allowed grooming, they take treats gently, and they know sit. They are a little shy at first, but extremely sweet. Sensitive boys💓 They do not appear reactive to other dogs, but they would need the proper time separated and very slow and safe introductions to other dogs. Kids would most likely be ok as long as they are polite with animals and the intros were slow.

Wanna meet Remy and Gus Gus? Bring the family down to mcacc west today!
No appointments need👏🏼

Ollie and Taylor are just the cutest duo.
Ollie seems to be comforted by her Mommy style. And Taylor seems to really enjoy having the companionship💓

We would LOVE LOVE LOVE if these two found a home together, but we know asking someone to take on a puppy and a senior is a lot!
Paws crossed though... 🐾🐾

Contact us to meet them 😁🐶🐶

Look who we got to see today!!!👀👀👀👀
💓BONDED PAIR- MUST KEEP THESE GIRLS TOGETHER💓

This is the most beautiful pair I have ever met, Velma and Ezbe at mcacc west…and I’m not exaggerating🫶🏼
Velma (black and white), is said to be about 8 years old and Ezbe (mostly white), is said to be about 3 years old. We think mother and daughter, potentially, but, you guys, they are EVERYTHING😍
They would run around and play and every few minutes, stop to give each other a kiss. It was the most precious thing in the world! We just have to keep these girls together. We HAVE to!🥰
They both appear potty trained and walk well on the leash. Unfortunately, they were owner surrenders, unspayed, and have had multiple litters. So for dogs like this, these are the ones that we are glad end up at the shelter because they have not been treated the way they should.

They do not appear dog reactive, but officially, their social status is unknown at this time beyond each other. I think kids would be fine as long as they were polite with animals.

We started pulling Velma from the kennel, and she did not even want to leave the younger one. Then once we brought the younger one into the play yard, it had only been about two minutes, and you could tell they absolutely missed each other dearly. They would run around and play and every few minutes, stop to give each other a kiss. It was the most precious thing in the world! We just have to keep these girls together. We HAVE to!🥰

Training Tip: How To Address Jumping:🤘🏼

Teach your dog that they receive no attention for jumping on you or anyone else. You can turn your back and only pet your dog when all four paws are on the floor.

Teach your dog to do something that is incompatible with jumping up, such as sitting. They can't sit and jump up at the same time. If they are not sitting, they get no attention.

It is important to be consistent. Everyone in your family must follow the training program all the time. You can't let your dog jump on people in some circumstances, but not others.
