This is Lavern (8 yrs old) & Shirley (10years old) at mcacc west❤️

These 2 sisters are just perfection. They both have their own kennel, but prefer to be in one, snuggled together in a little ball🥹❤️
They are easy, well behaved and just perfect. Other dogs would most likely be ok as long as they have each other.
They do need attention to their fur and coat. Most likely from poor Diet, but probably good to get a professional opinion. They also most likely need attention to dental. Most senior little dogs do.

But y’all, it’s so important these two sisters stay together. It will break us if they get separated, but more importantly, it will break their hearts💔

Update: Rescued together by Forever Loved Pet Sanctuary🎉🎉🎉🎉

I finally got to meet this beautiful senior, bonded pair tonight🐾❤️…and oh my heart is bursting!
This is Scarlette and Shadow at mcacc west💓
Scarlette is about 8 years old and Shadow is about 11 and they are absolutely bonded. These 2 MUST be adopted or go to rescue together. 
You can tell they are pretty stressed at the shelter unfortunately and hopefully will not be there very long. This is no place for animals to spend the end part of their life.
They both are absolutely potty trained, kennel trained and they both walk wonderful on the leash. We saw zero dog reactivity from either one of them so I’m sure they would blend in perfectly with any pack as long as they were together. They were very sweet with everyone they met and I just really hope we can find a beautiful place for them to go.
It’s honestly kind of funny because they are literally identical other than Shadow being a little bit bigger lol it’s like mini me and Dr. evil😂

They are the sweetest boys. They love anyone they meet. Great on leash. Very eager to have cuddles and kisses. They are house trained and crate trained. They are a bonded pair and have to stay together. 😊 do you have room in your home for two? 😏❤️

We'd like to introduce you to Brutus and Moose!

Their story is a bit heartbreaking. They were found tied to a pole outside of a hospital on February 4th. We learned their owner, who is homeless, was at the hospital receiving care. He had Brutus since he was a puppy, and Moose for about 7 years. They're both about 13 years old now. 🧡 Their owner let us know he wouldn't be able to care for them anymore. 😔

Do you have room in your home for this easygoing, senior duo? They are at our West shelter hoping for a comfy home to spend their golden years.

Ying and Yang are an adorable pair of besties!❤️

Ying is the female, more tan with floppy ears
Yang is the male with the stand up ears and freckled snout! They are both estimated to be only a year old.

This pair loves to know what the other is up to, and didn’t want to miss out on any action when we had them out! They are just a pair of wiggle worms 🐛🐛 with a ton of love to give. While unsure of their surroundings initially, it seems that having each other has helped them adjust to their current settings, but it’s no match for a real home! They are friendly, food motivated, affectionate and fun!

Update: Bella Adopted!! Ziggy was returned and is at the East shelter currently :(

This is Bella and Ziggy at MCACC west💓
They’re said to be about 8 years old and they’re both just so loving and sweet. They’re easy on the leash and so much fun. They’re super social and do not seem dog reactive.
They were surrendered together, so we’d love to see them in a family and be reunited in a 2nd chance at love❤️

Bella : She loves to run around in the yard and explore. She’s very loving with the volunteers and just wants affection. She does jump a little, but that’s easy to correct and she will listen to correction.

Ziggy : She LOVES to play fetch and splash in the pool💦🌊🎾 She’s a total sweetheart and so easy to love.

This is bonded pair, Baron and Baronness at mcacc west💓❤️
They are the sweetest pups ever!!
Def bonded and need out together🙏🏼
⭐️Baron is the gray pibble. He’s a male and seems a bit younger and is a bit more outgoing than his friend.
⭐️Baroness is the pretty rottie girl. She looks like she’s been a mama dog before and she’s a little more shy than her friend.
Both appear potty trained and kennel trained!

They are both incredibly sweet and already volunteer and staff favorites❤️ They absolutely need to be adopted together. Unfortunately, mcacc does not require them to be adopted together. At any point, one could be adopted and leave the other alone😞…so it’s up to us!!! Please share so we can find them a family together.
