Congratulations to Lucas Ivanoff ! Our heavy equipment operator extraordinaire, we are blessed to have him as part of what we do! A newly minted Civil Engineer, we will lose him soon as he leaves Laramie but we are so happy for him! Congratulations!
Go, Jet, Go! Check out the amazing Lilly Masopust on Jet, a former Banner’s Refuge citizen. Jet is living his best life with his new mom, representing the University of Wyoming with pride!
Let a rescue…….rescue you!!!!
Good morning, everyone! Autumn the barn supervisor has taken on training donkeys. Look at her go!
Have you ever experienced the relief and peace and absolute gratitude in the hearts of these beautiful souls when they know they are safe, loved, and finally in their forever homes? Look how these two absolutely melt into the arms of their new momma. Have you ever seen such joy? Welcome to your forever, Fred and Henry! You’re home.
Sally and Morticia - more of the Dallas death row Dogs - have found their forever mom and dad. I loved these puppies and can’t wait to see what their future brings! And look! They have two new big sisters to love them, too!
Home again, home again, jiggity jig….
Here is the why. Why we try so hard. Why we keep believing. Why we keep loving. Why we keep praying.
Champagne and Winston found their forever homes today. We will miss them - Winston has been the light of our days since he was born in a snow storm the end of April - but we rejoice their new family.
Check out their new digs. Belly deep in grass and surrounded by love. God’s wind beneath your wings, sweet babies. It was our honor to shelter you and love you until your forever arrived.
We are ALWAYS happy to see a horse go to their forever home. Our mission is not to keep forever (unless that is how it has to be) but rather to FIND forever. The best forever we can for each amazing soul. Miss Diamond leaves tomorrow morning to be the true love of a young lady who has waited a long time for the perfect friend. She got a bit of a glow up today before her big ride and the winter hair just fell off of her! Diamond - we will miss you but we can’t wait for you to light up and fill up the heart of your new best friend. You ARE a Diamond and this is YOUR perfect setting!
This beauty went to her new forever home today. We know her mama is going to love her big. She did X-rays and a full vet exam before committing to a life of care and love for this girl. That every horse is chosen with such thoughtfulness and knowledge is our hope.
This is Timber. We pulled him and five other unhandled studs last summer out of the kill pen shortly before they were due to ship to Mexico. Studs have almost no hope once they make it to the kill pen. On top of normal costs of QT, hauling, etc., you add gelding to that and you still don’t know what you are getting. I always knew Timber just needed “his girl” to love him and be finally found her in Shelby Teller!
Look at him now! Headed to the absolute best life with her! We are so thankful to Shelby Teller for taking him and working to reach his full potential!
One week old and learning how the legs work! Many thanks to Dr. Ashleigh at Animal Health Center who went above and beyond at 3:30 AM for a baby who wasn’t nursing at the 5 hour mark. Look at him now!
