Alpine Paws Moraine Tag is for the stunning Lake Moraine in Banff. Its become an increasingly popular spot due to its stunning blue waters.

Facts: Moraine Lake is a glacially fed lake in Banff National Park, 14 kilometres (8.7 mi) outside the hamlet of Lake Louise, Alberta, Canada. It is situated in the Valley of the Ten Peaks.

The lake, being glacially fed, does not reach its crest until middle to late June. When it is full, it reflects a distinctive shade of azure blue. The unique colour is due to the refraction of light off the rock flour deposited in the lake on a continual basis by surrounding glaciers.

Alpine paws Castle tag is designed after you guessed it Castle Mountain in Banff National Park.

Facts: Castle Mountain was named as such due to its castle-like/fortress appearance. Situated in Banff National Park in the Canadian Rockies, with a peak of 9075ft (2766m), the mountain is widely photographed and a favorite of local artists. Despite looking steep and intimidating from the road, Castle Mountain is a relatively easy ascent from the back side, making it a popular hike for visitors.

Alpine Paws Three Sisters Design is one of our most popular tags. The Three Sisters Mountains in Canmore, AB are highly recognized peaks so we created this design so your dog can also be remembered for their stunning tag.

History : In 1883, Albert Rogers named these mountains the Three Nuns after a storm left a heavy veil of snow on the northern face of all three peaks. They were renamed the Three Sisters in 1886 by George Dawson and they are referred to individually as Big Sister, Middle Sister, and Little Sister. Heavily associated with the town of Canmore in the front ranges of the Canadian Rockies known as Kananaskis Country, the Three Sisters may be the most recognized peaks in the Bow River Valley section of the TransCanada Highway (Hwy 1). www.explorecanmore.ca
