I had just about given up that Sid and I would make it to the competition in September but now I think we might 😍
Sid is really spooky and not sure about this whole human thing. This is as close to touching as he can do right now. It takes a while before he’s willing to try.
Apollo just left for his new home this morning, which means chapter one of his domestic life is done. Chapter two is just about to begin.
Good luck buddy ❤️
Continuing to desensitize the boy to anything I can get my little hands on. He’s taking it like a champ 🙌🏻
Babies!
How is a person supposed to get any work done with this cuteness around?
Can’t say that I mind though 😉
Babies!
While I’m still working with Apollo until he finds a new home, I’m also spending a little more time with our babies, Zane and Milo. This is pretty much what our “sessions” look like.
Zane is at the beginning and Milo is napping - or was until I had the nerve to disturb him 😉
Freestyle
Our freestyle! I think of all the freestyles I've done, this was my favorite. I had a blast doing it and I'm so proud of Apollo. It was also a privilege to share 1st place with two other ladies for this class. So fun!
Trail Class. We placed 4th in this one. He was feeling rather zesty!
Handling and Conditioning
Day 1 is done! It reached a balmy 104 today 🥵🤯
Fortunately no cases of heat stroke. Just the handling and conditioning class. Apollo and I placed 3rd in that one.
Water baby
He seems to like the water 😂💦
Flag Work
I took advantage of a GORGEOUS day to play with Apollo. The slight breeze added an extra layer of scary to our work with the flag.
My nifty little camera holder doesn’t allow me to show what else we’ve been working on in the obstacle course, but his repertoire has really been growing. 6 more weeks until the competition!
Some progress
I was told it’s been too long since I’ve put up any updates, which is true. So here’s a little something from what Apollo and I have been doing lately.
