We fell in love with these adorable little creatures when we got our first "house hippo" three years ago.

Today we say a very sad goodbye to our sweet Nero. He’d been battling bloat but seemed to be on the mend after much intensive care (even popcorning yesterday) but he took a sudden turn for the worst this morning. Very sad and unexpected. RIP little one 🥺
