We had a great weekend at Cajun Hunting Retriever Club. The dogs went 6/6 this weekend with Reed earning his HR title, C**t picking up two seasoned passes, and Major making his hunt test debut and earned two started passes.

Thanks to all the judges, bird techs and club members for an absolutely amazing weekend.

2020 Teal season was great for some Fowl Driven Retriever dogs. It was awesome to see them take what they learned here in training and use it out in the field.

C**t, owned by Brady Duhon, had his first Teal season and it was a huge success picking up 320 birds at just over a year old. He is going to make one jam up dog!

SHR Reed, owned by Brock Carriere, had his second teal season. He showed big improvements in his confidence hunting some tough marsh. Reed was able to retrieve almost 60 birds this season.

HR Delta, owned by Chip LeBouef, also got her second teal season under her belt. As usual she killed it! I’m looking forward to putting an HRCH title on her this coming spring.

Kaya, owned by Dale Barras, also had her first Teal season. She’s off to a great start and I can’t wait to see how much she advances leading into the winter.

I was able to enjoy a few great hunts with my personal dog, HRCH Sadie. The drive she has never gets old. It’s always rewarding to see the hard work we put in all summer pay off in the duck blind....
