Christine's Chop Shop sent me an incredible box, larger than expected, to thank my husband and me for our rescue work. The snacks are amazing, and everyone enjoys them - even the dogs when the birds drop crumbs.

Dixie Has Found her Home!

Meet Dixie!
Dixie is a 35 to 45-year-old double yellow headed Amazon.  she has cataracts in one of her eyes follicle damage due to past trauma.
 She got a clean bill of health a few weeks ago. She is now ready to head to a new home. She’s more of a perch potato and loves to play around with her toys in her cage, Or play stand. She stick transfers very well. She needs a home where she can spend the rest of her years on a perch hanging out with you and the family. She’s not very loud. She says hi to us when we come in and out of the room and clicks and cackles throughout the day. She doesn’t really want to be hugged or snuggled. She just wants to be with you hanging out..

Dixie got a clean bill of health! She does have some cataracts in one eye. Both feet are dry and we have some sores that are healing due to history of poor nutrition. She will be available for adoption within the next few weeks. If you are interested in Dixie, please message, the rescue.
