Hi Folks, just an FYI we’ve been severely short staffed with 2 staff away, we will try and catch up with everyone by end of week!

Also please note if you’ve had issues calling in, Rogers and Citywest don’t always talk nicely to each other!

We said goodbye to these five adorable kittens today! They are off to a rescue in Prince George and the next chapter of their life! The lucky adopters in PG are in for an absolute riot with these kittens 🥰

“Kitten Therapy” will be on hold for a bit while we clean and reorganize the space!

The first picture (after the window sign) is from their rescue on June 3rd. The last 5 pictures are some of the most recent (re: not blurry) pictures that Ashley has taken 😁 they’ve grown up to be strong and healthy!

HerShe, Mars Bar, Riesen, Malteser, and Werther’s would like to say thank you to all the visitors who stopped by and said hi, thank you for supporting PURS, and Adios, Amigos!!

It’s been an intense year with everything we did (and did not) accomplish, and that’s ok.

Be gentle with yourself going into 2023. Life is a true journey, it will never be a straight line, but full of bumps and turns and even setbacks. Sometimes it will surprise you, in ways you didn’t think were possible.

May your 2023 be better, and brighter, than 2022.

I am unable to upload forms to our page and we do not have the new client form on the website yet, however you can request one via email, download it from our posts on Prince Rupert Pets and Whats up Prince Rupert OR you can pick one up from the clinic between 1-4pm during the week!

We are located on the upper level of the Pollyco (Rupert Square) Shopping Centre, please use the parking lot entrance that is to the left of the mall doors. We will have our temporary signage up hopefully tomorrow.

Ashley and Dr. Carole Scholz have been working towards this day since February, so please bear with us and our team as we get our feet underneath us and switch from renovation mode to work mode!

A big shout out to our friends, family, community, contractors, and that dash of pixie dust that had me walk in the upper level mall doors that fateful day, March 23 2022.

I never walk through those doors...so I LITERALLY (and very cartoonishly) stopped mid step as I realized that the old Royal LePage office was EMPTY...and met the requirements for having a veterinary clinic within a mall!

(I have not needed realtor services since moving to Prince Rupert in 2013, so I had no idea that it was closed!)

Hello Prince Rupert,

We have some fabulous news...we have been inspected by the Veterinary College and are one step closer to opening!!!

Our next steps as we inch closer to opening are bringing in medications and the last bits of equipment that we need, and then finishing off our renovations. Then we check back in with the Veterinary College to confirm that we have everything in order. Once they are satisfied that we do - we can open!

What this means for you: we still don't have a firm opening day as the Veterinary College doesn't allow us to give you one. So hang in there just a bit longer.

We will be opening the client list soon. We will have new client forms available online next week and for pick up in the office as soon as we are allowed to be open. We will be limited in the services that we offer - wellness and vaccine appointments and spay & neuter surgeries.

Please keep in mind that we will be a new clinic facility with a new team and new software so we ask that you be patient with us as we do a slow roll out of appointments.

This has been a long haul and we are so looking forward to getting rolling.

We are still working hard everyday to get ready for opening, I promise. The fact it’s rather quiet here (facebook) means none of us are just twiddling our thumbs 😅

Just an FYI, we’ve hidden this cheeky little door in the clinic, and it definitely gave us all a much needed laugh. I still need to add the doorknob though!
