2 weeks old! Eyes starting to open 😍 Daily ENS and ESI and they got to experience their first camper ride! Plus some time meeting new people, and positive interactions with younger kids... Lots of leaning and growing!

She seemed content for a bit so I took the opportunity to make up some post-whelp (during if she's interested) food, and make some liver water up in case any pups need it. Yes I know there is rice and corn but she likes them and that's what's important considering how hard it was to get her to eat last time. Surprisingly she was quite interested even with contractions and ate some fresh off the stove. She had chicken liver, ground beef, salmon, eggs, rice, mixed veggies, and a b vitamin supplements to help keep up her energy and appetite!

Well looksike we will not be confirming count, Dandy started acting restless today and her temp check is 98.8. Pups coming soon!!

Last time Dandy wanted to go under my bed and in my closet despite her whelping pool setup. This time I tried very hard to recreate that feeling for her. I hope when the time comes she likes it. Dudley was enjoying his one and only visit, from now on he has some new boundries to respect.

Today is the big day! I actually brought her a couple days ago and chickened out. All of those feelings from last time came rushing back and I started second guessing if it was too soon. Vet said a couple days will allow more calcification and better chance for an accurate count anyway so I ran with it. How many do you see?! We count 7-8! I am gonna rake her back in for another on Monday to see if we csn confirm a count. She is due Wednesday, I know nothing is exact but I doubt she goes early.

Conformation day! Relaxin is a hormone only present in a dog when they are pregnant, that way we know it's a true pregnancy and not false as the signs and symptoms of both are the same. Annnnd we had 2 lines! Round 2 here we come 😍
