Working with Huskies ✨
One of the harder breeds to work with as they aren’t usually toy or food driven. Oreo here is taking leaps and strides in his time here with me.
We’ve successfully got to a point where he’s no longer dragging on leash. We’ve improved our obedience and listening skills. Here we’re pushing on off leash concept while still reinforcing our obedience. He’s such a fun dog to work! I had to slim down an 8 minute video into 1 minute for Facebook 🤣

Vannik says for Christmas he’d love to find a forever home with someone 🫶🏼

**currently waiting for Vanniks DNA test results**

Vannik is a sweet 1yr old German Shepherd. He’s got a ton of energy but can easily burn that with training and playing fetch. He LOVES to play ball.
Vannik is great on leash and loves to take walks.

He has a solid recall and is ecollar trained.

He struggles with minor reactivity towards strangers and other dogs. Prior to me he was attacked by another dog. He has met Killua and had intrest in being friends. He does NOT like dominant males.
He corrects nicely and has zero handler aggression.

He loves car rides and being included in your day to day.

Vannik was surrendered to be due to his owner not being able to keep and care for him any longer. He lived with a young boy and they were best friends.

He is UTD on shots and IS NOT neutered. I wouldn’t recommend fixing until after 2 yr.

Vannik would make a fabulous trainer dog to my trainer friends 👀

Please reach out if you or someone you know would be interested in giving this guy a home. He’s welcome to stay here as long as it takes so this is not a rush. He just doesn’t get along with Koda.

Meet Brandy!
She’s looking for her forever home.
She’s a 3 year old French Bulldog.
She came from a breeder who tossed her out after she had pups unfortunately. So we took her in before someone else bred her for money.
Now she’s with the company receiving love and training.
She was neglected so she’s a little shy at first then she’s full of energy.
She’s UTD on all vaccinations.

Potty trained
Great with dogs she thinks she’s a big dog.

What is the “place” command? In dog training this command instructs a dog to go to a designated spot (higher the elevation the easier for the dog to understand) with out coming off of it until they are released! Your dog can changes its position to become more comfortable (sit, stand, down) but they are taught to respect the boundary of not coming off! Nancy and Cooper are working on moving from one place to the next at the park!! Get creative and comment below with a picture of your dog on place!! #placecommand #dogs #basicobedience #dogtrainer

Working with Cooper on come, sit and casting to place. You’ll also hear me give Cooper a release command (break) with a reward! Making our training fun not only does it make exciting for your pup, but also more enjoyable for you as well! Remember you and your dog are a team! As trainers at K9 remedy we teach you ways to strengthen the bond with your dog with successful obedience!

Scout had a really big day today. Today we had our first home visit before she goes home next week. As a trainer, you always have to remember to be your clients biggest hype friend! Abby and Scout are going to make an amazing team. Look how great they did this evening! Almost to the finish line 😁

This life was never possible for Scout before training. She could have never sat still in a busy pet filled store. She was on heavy medication every single day to help her cope with her reactivity. Today she walks through petsmart and works in a downtown setting showing off her stuff. Awesome work Scout!

Voice over training with scout! Due to Facebook cutting off the longer version this is cut short. Really proud of her and her progress. She goes home next week!

Morning/afternoon training work for Scout. Shes been such a joy to have in my house. All my dogs love her (especially Killua) and she’s so incredibly smart. She has learned so much in 2 weeks. We’re excited for her home visit next Thursday and she finally goes home November 22! Awesome work Scout!

Off leash freedom for Scout in controlled environments 💪🏼 This girl came reactive to other dogs and now she’s learning how to control her over stimulated emotions and learn to have friends again! Off leash isn’t allowed everywhere and always leash your dog up when passing strange dogs. Always be aware of your surroundings when you’re out with your dogs too!
