It was ultrasound day again. Her daddy said her belly really popped in the last 24 hours and he wanted me to have a look. Lots of healthy pups seen and I still anticipate somewhere between 6-8 🐩 pups. ❤️

Envy and Diva after their baths and blowouts today. Poodles do require quite a bit of coat maintenance. In my experience though, if you keep up with a weekly bath and blowout, a well bred poodle won't have to be brushed near as much. The high velocity dryer makes all the difference in how your poodle looks after a bath. If you know, you know. Link in the comments to the dryer we use. 5 stars 🌟 . Highly recommend.

Even Santa loves poodles. ❤️ We are expecting a special delivery on Christmas Day 🎄! Noel + Amigo is sure to bring us one of our most stunning 🐩 litters yet. Intense colors, very high human focus, trainability, athletic...what more can you ask for? If your dog could talk, what do you think they'd say they were thankful for this Thanksgiving?

Moxie: food, all the food and the ability to sneak food out of other dog's bowls when no one is paying attention

Envy: attention because I need it allllllllll for me to stay powered up

Newt: you and you and you and you annnnnd you oh my gosh and can't forget you, I just love all the hoomans

Amigo: naptime, warm beds, laps, lazy owners who like to sit around and let me sit with them, dad cause he's secretly my favorite, shhh don't tell mom she gets jealous

Noel: room to run and roam cause I like to go visit the neighbors even though they say I'm not supposed to

Lyric: friends but truly I'm the coolest of them all so they should probably be thankful for me but I also really like that hair dryer thing they use after my bath, it's like a massage y'all

Diva: toys gimmie alllllll the toys oh and anything that is left on the floor that I can pickup and chew on when no one is looking

Never shared these adorable pics of our lovely Diva. Mostly because when she came back from the groomer looking so so brown. We were perplexed. 🤔 We reached out to our breeder friends and color experts as well as color groups and, well, she's still pretty much a mystery. She could turn blue when her adult coat comes in. 🤷🏻‍♀️ She could darken back up some but I think that's unlikely. Either way she's a black based poodle with a totally brown coat. Time will tell what color she turns out. Either way she's a gorgeous little puppy who is tracking to be about 14"/15lbs full grown. What do you think of little feisty Diva? Could you say no to those eyes?

Amigo has the most chill and agreeable temperament of all of our poodles. He's calm, cuddly, high touch tolerant, super human focused, confident but compliant. This guy is going to produce service dog temperament pups. If you're not on the list already and you think this temperament would suit your family, better get on it quick. 🏃🏻‍♀️ His first litter is due on Christmas 🎄 day!

Happy birthday to Lilly's Lovely Lyric. 🎵 She got a stinky "cookie" for her birthday (it's beef lung). Then a bath, blowout. Snuggle. Then another bath and blowout after she went and rolled in 💩! Did anyone dress up their dogs on Halloween? Despite having a tote of Halloween costumes (no lie a whole tote), we failed. It was so cold and 3 of 4 girls being in heat just didn't jive with dressing up this year. Definitely went and shopped the after Halloween sales though. 🎃 Found some amazing deals and made a new friend at the Petsmart checkout aisle. Leave it to me to strike up a convo with someone in the checkout. I'm becoming more my mother by the day. 😂

Honeymoon was a success for these two! Now we wait for 💻ultrasound confirmation in about 30 days. Small standards in firey red sable, phantom and red. If we get confirmation of a litter, they will be due on Christmas day which is so fitting for Noel who was also from a Christmas 🎄 litter. ❤️ 🐩

If you've been waiting and watching for Noel's first litter, you won't have to be waiting much longer. 👏 She will honeymoon next week with Amigo for an absolutely 🔥 hot 🔥 litter of intense sables, phantoms and reds with parti possible. Noel is 17" and 25lbs and Amigo is 15" and 14lbs. Both parents are fully health tested beyond requirements. ❤️. This pair is likely to produce therapy dog temperament pups as Amigo has literally one of the best temperaments we've ever had in a dog. You simply can't help falling for him! Gah, this is an exciting and exceptional litter y'all!

Newt got all spiffed up yesterday just in time for our family photos this weekend! Do you like his lamb cut? We kept him a bit longer since the weather is turning cool here in Kentucky. 🍂

They earned a few ribbons this weekend. 😉 Lyric set the record with a new personal best of 24.07 MPH but Noel was right behind her with a new personal best of 22.99 MPH. The girls flew today! The boys....well they completed their runs. 😂 Hopefully one more run and Lyric will have her BCAT. There is only Paducah, KY left for us this season to compete in and I'm not sure if we will be able to make that one. 🫣 So it may be a 2024 goal. 👍 Overall I'm just so proud of these 4. Going in with 3 dogs that had never done it before was pretty nerve wracking. But they did it and we will continue onward until they all have at least completed their first titles. Then we will see who really loves it and let them keep moving on. ❤️

Well it was an interesting day. It wasn't supposed to rain 🌧 But it did. It was windy and raining for all the dogs' first runs. 🫣 Being they don't have high prey drive, they're not too inclined to chase the "bunny" and work more off an awesome recall. 🗣 With it being hard to hear today, we had a first round of "practice" runs. No points earned. But for the second round the girls showed out. 👏 Both earning points and Lyric turning up the speed to run it in just 8.67 seconds. 😲 This makes her our fastest poodle to date. 👏 The boys completed their second runs but were still learning so their speeds weren't accurate. Tomorrow is sure to be a better day all around as we head back to the field! Oh yeah, and I bathed them all this morning. 🤦🏻‍♀️. So much for that. 😂 Special thanks for Lilly and my mom who toughed it out in wind in wet clothes and shoes that felt like walking in water 💧 all day. Gross.

I'll be happy if they just cross the start line and come to me. 😂 Their recall is all super but not sure what they're gonna think of that little trash bag bunny today + stage fright. 😬

Ok we officially have Lyric, Noel, Newt and Amigo all signed up to run in the local AKC FASTCAT trials coming up in October. Can you all send me good vibes that these girls do not come into heat! 🫣 We had to scratch Lyric last time due to heat and she's due again! Oh my. Always fighting against mother nature! IF she gets to run, she will likely get her first title and rosette!!! 👏

Remember Derby from earlier this weekend? He was our pupdate that got a new agility course. Well he's getting something else too. A new baby sister! Amethyst is going to live with him and will be called Tynka (think Tinker Bell). 💚
