This year we are a couple of weeks behind with the dahlias, due to the late start of the spring/summer. We are hoping to see these beauties sometime late August. This one is called Bloomquist Tory P, or as I call it, 'The Unicorn'. The tubers are super hard to find, and I understand why. Although it produces loads of blooms, it is a horrible tuber producer. I even thought I had lost the tuber during overwintering. To my surprise, it's growing. I'm excited to see it again. It is a very romantic lavender color that you just fall in love with. If we get to see some of the blooms, we will definitely add them to our bouquets. So stay tuned!
