Some new faces recently!!

🐾 Miep is growing up and started her “big girl” training after initially doing some puppy lessons with me. She’s such a spunky little thing and so smart! Loves to work and picking things up quickly! 🩷

🐾 Hank is also growing up and started his “big boy” training after his initial puppy lessons as well! He’s already getting close to 4 months old and almost 50lbs 😯😯 His parents understand the importance of manners early in his life before! 💙

🐾 Sunny has started his training as well this week! This big kiddo is working on his manners, leash walking, coming when called & polite greetings. Such a smart kiddo and doing great so far! 💚

🐾Some new faces that have recently joined the Coffey House family!🐾

Let me introduce you to Jaxx, Hamilton, Potato, May, Maggie & Sutter!! They’ve all recently started their training programs with me 🤩

🐾 Jaxx is working through some anxiety behaviors as well as some reactivity issues. He’s learning how to relax & handle new environments and distractions. He’s also working on some general leash manners, reactivity & polite greetings.

🐾 Hamilton is the cutest little fluff ball! He’s just a puppy learning how to grow up to be the best dog for his family! He’s smart and LOVES to train. We are working on laying down his foundation and shaping him into the perfect addition to his new family.

🐾 Potato is working on her overall general obedience, impulse control, energy management & polite greetings. She’s a high energy lady who LOVES people & dogs so much that she forgets her manners when first meeting them.

🐾 May & Maggie are the dynamic duo who are learning how to have better manners, listen around distractions, walk nicely on a leash and just be the best girls for their family!

🐾 Sutter is working through some reactive and energy management around new people, dogs & distractions. He’s a bit of an anxious boy so we are also working on him learning to relax around bigger distractions.

Alder is here to tell you it’s never too late to train your dog! This lady was recently adopted by a lovely owner who understands the importance of training even though Alder is estimated to be around 9 years old. Her goals are better loose leash walking, socialization and confidence building around new places, people & dogs as well as working on her recall. Attention! There will be some slight changes to my programs for a few months.

I am currently booking out into June for Day Training and will be putting the program on HOLD from end of June to end of August. It’s just too hot to be able to hold day training during the day during the summer months. Your pups health and safety is my primary concern.

I know that March Madness is a thing… but I’ve been having a bit of Doodle Madness around here lately 😂 It’s been a doodle filled last few weeks and I’m loving it! So many fluffy faces 😍

Fun Fact: A lot of these doodles are related to each other in some way. The first 2 shown and full siblings but a few years apart from each other. The next 4 puppies shown are all littermates from & I’m working with each of their families. The next two shown together have the same dad but different moms.

The last pup is Maple who is a new student around here 💖 She recently started her training to work on impulse control, polite greetings, leash manners, overall general obedience and public manners. She is a quick learner and doing great so far!! 🤩

Samwise has officially started his “big boy training” 😂😍 Now that he’s a bit older than a tiny pup (see his other photos from his puppy lessons) we’ve started working on his training goals his owner has for him! The first one being a service dog prospect for her 🤩 First steps are working on a solid obedience foundation, public exposure & socialization, neutrality around his environments as well. This kid is SMART and she did such a great job so far with his start to training 💙

I’ve recently started working with these puppies from 😍 I trained .arlo.aussiedood who is the father of this litter and Tiffanie has since recommended me to her clients as well 🥰 I’m so excited to help these families out with their newest additions! Stay tuned for more puppy content from these three pups as we work through their private lessons together.

Also, isn’t it crazy how different puppies can look from each other and be from the same litter!

I almost didn’t post this video… Then I realized how much joy this silly video brings to me. I’m working on a new relationship with my dogs. Our past working relationship has been very different to what our life is like now together. I’m working on loving their quirks and mistakes. I’m working on not controlling everything they do throughout the day. I’m letting them just be dogs again and finding the moments in the mistakes they make that bring a smile to my face 💛 This moment shows Zion figuring it out on the own. This was the first time I asked him to do this/go to this spot. I’ve given him a command he knows but I wasn’t adding in any other hand signal or guidance. I wanted him to problem solve and find the place I was looking for on his own. He has such a goofy personality that I can’t help but laugh at ☺️ My dogs are not perfect little robots but they are perfect for me and my lifestyle.
