Howdy all! I know we've been real quiet lately but hopefully we've got BIG news coming soon! 🐾💓🐾
In the meantime, summer is coming and it's time for those yearly hot weather reminders!

We all love our little smoosh face dogs! Their face is what melts our hearts. Unfortunately, their face is also what puts them in a high risk category for many things.

Get familiar with your dogs limitations, the signs of respiratory distress and what to do if your dog is experiencing any of those symptoms. Above all, take all the necessary precautions to prevent this outcome! Stay safe this summer and give your good boys and girls a belly rub from Cast Iron Kennels. 🥰🐾🌞🫶

Is there such thing as a fashionably early arrival? 🤔 Our sweet Miss Ona decided she wasn't waiting until Monday and went into active labor this morning. Bless our vet and the staff at Chambers Prairie who fit us right in and brought these precious souls into the world. 7 in total. Mama and babies are doing great! 🥰

I have never in my life known a kid who "always" knew what they wanted to be when they grew up... except for my niece Maddison Stamp . Watching her grow through the years and work towards her dream has been nothing short of amazing. She will be earning some of her college funds and getting some really great experience helping us whelp our upcoming litter. But school is expensive and she has a long ways to go.
