This super little lad arrived as a foster 2 weeks ago. He’s just 4 months old.
He’s so smart! We’ve mostly worked on calmness and learning to chill but he’s also learnt a few other things already…. ❤️🐾
Paws up is a great game and is useful for many things.
Here Arlo is going through the steps to help build up to some nail care. He has learnt paws up in other places and now he’s applying that to the nail board.
Initially he’s hesitant as it’s something new but he quickly starts to get the idea. We will build up to him scratching at the board which will file his nails nicely.
Cheese 🧀 v Chicken 🍗
Having lots of fun teaching my dogs to speak!
Today I decided it would be interesting to try to establish whether they prefer cheese or chicken..
Christmas cardboard!
Lots of boxes arriving so there’s only one thing for it.. Cardboard Chaos for breakfast 😁
I love this game as much as the dog’s do! Whilst they eat they are building confidence and grit whilst improving their manners around each other and working on noise sensitivity.
Such a simple but effective game!
Have you tried it?
Lesson 2 on the skateboard.
Having built up the confidence of paws up with the board stable, the next lesson introduced the idea that the skate board moves!
Puppy power!
Playing games is so much fun! 🐶
Little Mignon is earning her daily food learning vital concepts to give her skills like confidence, focus and independence to help her navigate through life.
It’s so simple and yet so powerful 💪
A spot of recall in the woods at the weekend!
Bobby is really starting to pick things up quickly now.
This is us playing variations on middle and giving me a good workout too 🤣
Having fun together with your dog is the best gift you can give them.
Use their food allowance to stimulate their mental capacity and you’ll be amazed at how it improves their general behaviour, their wellbeing and sky rockets your relationship!
Look at this boy play 🐶
How much fun is he having? 🥳
Before playing games as our training method I could barely get him to eat or listen to me. Now look at him go 🌟
Catch.. or maybe not! 🤣
It can take a while for some dogs to learn but it’s a great way of boosting their confidence and focus to practice!
Nellie is getting the hang of pivoting nicely now. We haven’t practiced this for a few weeks but just worked generally in concepts through games. The last time we tried this she was only just beginning to move her back legs. So when she scooted round with me I was very pleased 😀
A little hoopla today with Nellie for some confidence building. I love how when I break her rhythm she pauses and thinks about what I just asked of her.
Growing flexibility and confidence! 💖
