Last chance to come learn about Body Lameness and "What is Normal" in horses. None of these horses are normal but all are in performance competing. Do you think that they are lame or having performance issues?
This seminar is to teach you the basic fundamentals of what normal is in every single horse so that you can apply this knowledge to your own horse or every horse. Dr. DeClue will teach you to see the patterns that are present, the causes of why they are occurring and give you practical common-sense solutions.
You do not need to be a veterinarian to learn this. All you need is your eyes, ears and hands to help solve the problems you are having with your horse.
Saturday is an all day learning session with everyone participating in the session and will be recorded for future assess. Sunday will be cases studies from the audience of their own horses never seen before by a panel of professionals. Sunday will not be recorded, so you will need to be in person to learn the most.
So come join us for a fun filled weekend in Ocala, Florida on November 18-19, 2023. Space is almost full, literally. You have until Monday November 13th to sign up.
You do not want to miss it, especially for your horse!

Equine Shivers Before and After Treatment
This is one of Dr. DeClue's early cases of Acute Bilateral Shivers on a 10 year old Morgan Gelding. What used to be a condition that had a very bleak outlook and often lead to euthanasia, is now being diagnosed and successfully treated thanks to Dr. DeClue's tireless efforts. She is giving hope to horse owners, trainers, and veterinarians all over the world. Hope is here! 🥰 https://declue-equine.com/

Before and after three dimensional (3D) motion kinematic analysis of a young horse with severe clinical signs of shivers in both hind limbs. 3D kinematics is the GOLD standard of research institutions such as NIH, Mayo Clinic, MIT and professional sports teams for analysis of movement disorders and performance movement of humans, dogs, and horses.
Dr. DeClue is not a brain surgeon, nor capable of doing cerebellum brain surgery, as hypothesized by this published paper to be the association (i.e. cause) of shivers clinical signs with only 5 horses in this 2015 published peer reviewed paper.

This published paper is now accepted as the "truth" by the veterinarian profession and stated to you as owners that there is nothing you can do for your horse with clinical signs of shivers. Cerebellar degeneration causes ataxia and asymmetrical movement of ALL four limbs! If your horse has shivers clinical signs in ONLY one limb, how can it be a cerebellum lesion? The answer is... it is not possible!

Dorsal Scapular Movement Disorder (DSMD) or previously know as Idiopathic Hopping Like Forelimb Lameness in Ridden Horses. This disorder can occur in EVERY horse whether ridden or not. It is an injury affecting the movement of the scapula, damage to the scapular cartilage and muscular-ligamentous attachments in the entire area. It is an extremely painful injury that causes horses to rear, bolt, buck, become frantict when saddle or mounting and unresolved and diagnosed front limb lameness. It is caused predominantly by equipment (saddle, surcingle, harness, collars) or acute/chronic injury to the area. It is a preventable (if caused by equipment) and treatable condition!
