This is the second half that emerged the next day of Gwen’s first clutch. Clearly a lot smaller and we’re seeing a lot of losses today 😥. This kind of confirms my theory of the first emerged being the strongest. See how they try to escape while I’m cleaning 😂. Luckily they don’t go far.
I still have to clean up the clear plastic on this mini enclosure. I’ve learned I don’t like overly decorated enclosures because it makes it hard to catch bugs they don’t eat (can harm the spiders) and to clean up or remove spider when necessary. This size 3x3x3 is only suitable for young spiders. Sub-adults and Up need larger
