Barbecue glazed, grilled chicken (Bullwinkle's Top Hat Bistro special Q-Sauce) and a generous garnish of Leeks and Radish Mico-Veggies.

Our Leeks are all grown up (4" tall) and ready to go!

Each micro-veggie-infused pad is 5.25" x 7.5". We've harvested about 1/3 of the pad, offering a flavorful garnish for 2 - 3 entrees, a side salad for 1 meal, or a generous topping to a deli sandwich.

Stored in the refrigerator these Leeks will be as fresh after 14 days as they are on Day 1. Harvest, wash, and serve a portion at each meal.

Update! Our Leeks are now a beautiful, deep green and the roots are dense and white. In a couple of days this living, veggie-infused coconut coir pad, will be ready for delivery to our community.

Update! Our Leeks have completed the germination phase and will spend the next several days bathed in daylight (and, of course, an 8 hour nap every day). The roots have fully penetrated the coconut coir pad and will now receive all nourishment from the purified water reservoir underneath.

Update! After 5 days our Leeks are 1 inch tall and the roots are just beginning to peek through the bottom of the coconut coir pad. The onion aroma is amazing!

It's Planting Day!

The natural Coconut Coir base (the "Soil") is inert: it does not affect the flavor of the vegetable. The newly planted Leek seeds (Non-GMO) will spend 7 - 8 days in darkness followed by 3 - 4 days bathed in light. Aided by daily care and feeding (purified water) these Leeks will be delivered to a member of our Bounty community in less than 14 days.
