Our little prince has gone in for some dental work and removal of a growth on his gum line today.

Of course I am nervous as ever but I know he is in the best possible hands - his vets at Bishops are so wonderful and so accommodating when it comes to prioritising his needs (specifically Emma ❤️), the sensitive little soul that he is. I am fully aware that I am a neurotic NIGHTMARE owner lol🤣. So it is so so appreciated and greatly valued.

The house is incredibly empty without him.

Looking forward to having my little monster back. 🥹🥰

Archie had to have a vet trip yesterday as I’d noticed a growth growing on his gum. Of course a little anxious at the idea of someone other than me having to examine those toofy pegs. But he was a little star.

A bit of a grump for his back end…

But as always, his lovely vet Emma was gentle, understanding and just generally wonderful with him.

She was confident it was a harmless growth called an Epulis so for now just a case of monitoring and making sure it doesn’t grow bigger and start causing problems.

He had a good ol flirt with everyone in the waiting room too. The little h***y.

Le Floof still fighting fit and will hopefully keep causing absolute havoc in my life for years to come! ❤️

Then at 2 years and now at 9 years…

7 years ago today this little gremlin growled his way into my life.

I fell for him the moment I saw him. Little did I know how difficult the next few years would be.

Many tears shed (and a fair amount of blood shed 🤣😬) thinking I was in way above my head with the level of aggression this boy showed within 24 hours or arriving.

But I was adamant there was a loving, playful, hilarious little personality hidden away behind those sharp little teeth.

7 years later and he is my little shadow. I physically couldn’t love him any harder than I do, he brightens my days and fills my heart with love and so much pride at how far he has come.

He is the very best boy. He still has his moments but he trusts me and I trust him that we both know he never has to escalate to biting anymore. Almost 4 years bite free come April.

Rehabilitating him is hands down one of my biggest achievements - as crazy as it sounds. Something I never dreamt possible when I first met him. He was the most complex, messed up dog I’d ever met.

As they say - one man’s trash is another man’s treasure. So close to losing his life but I am SO grateful that the vet asked to put him to sleep that day fought for him to be saved and he made his way to us.

Love you my boy. Happy gotcha day Arch ❤️.

Archie hopes everyone had a fantastic Halloween!

He went out trick or treating with my 6 year old niece and made quite an impact on all of the other trick or treaters!

Everyone loved this little pumpkin.

Who’d have thought all those years ago that he could be such a sociable friendly and loving boy?!

This little devil did me so proud today I could cry.

His first time being handled by a stranger in about five years. And he was a superstar.

He waited patiently in the reception area surrounded by people, dogs and a cat.

The lovely vet Emma examined every inch of him including listening to his heart (yes, she confirmed he does actually have one) and even checked his teeth!

And he was nothing but cooperative, enthusiastic, cheeky and loving.

If you’d told me he’d get to this stage when I first fostered him I’d never have believed you.

So so proud of the special boy ❤️ ###

6 years ago today this little Floofy Tornado made his way into my life and turned it upside down.

The tears, war wounds and blood shed were worth it all for the amazing, loving and hilarious boy I share my life with today.

He is my little sidekick and has taught me so much. He has made me a better person in so many ways and so much better at my job.

I love him more than I can even begin to explain and he makes me so proud!

Don’t give up on the difficult dogs - they need you more than anything ❤️.

I was given three beautiful gifts today from an incredibly talented lady and just wanted to share them with you.

These photos really don’t do them justice but hand crafted portraits of the three members of our furry family we have lost in the last year. Morris, Chloe and Ralph.

I have attached her contact details just incase anyone would like one of their own pups but I’m truly blown away, what a talent.

I’m fortunate to have a boyfriend that adores Archie as much as I do! So we have planned Archie’s first ‘holiday’. A weekend in The Cotswolds. This will be a real test but I have no doubt that he’ll love every second of being the centre of attention! ❤️
