We had a young student come out to volunteer with our group today to satisfy a community service project for school.... and they ended up falling in love with Zoey! She's on a 'test drive' with the family to see how she fits in.

Today, the 'doublemint twins' hit the jackpot. I normally don't like to send puppies from the same litter home together, but this was a good fit.

One of our YRH Alum, adopted by a wonderful woman, was gently guided to the Rainbow bridge today.
Hi mum said,
"Sweet precious Max crossed the rainbow bridge today. Max came into my life 6 years ago at the age of 9 and will always have a special place in my heart, I will treasure the precious memories I have of him deep in my heart forever❤️"

Max had cataracts. We had him evaluated, and we were told he was not a candidate for surgery. That didn't stop Leta. She took this baby and loved him. He eventually did have the surgery, which, unfortunately, expedited the onset of glaucoma and lost both of his eyes. But lived with good eyesight for several years.
Max was well loved and cared for my his forever family.

Please hold his mom in your heart as she grieves his loss.

R.I.P Max. You were an amazing little boy!
