Ok... still sitting up here on cloud 9
after Crufts 2022 yesterday… apologies for the long post.
I named our latest puppy 'Russian Roulette'
for two reasons, one of course because of who her daddy is, but the second because I've never come across a Vizsla with her level of sass and attitude!! She is so self confident and independent that I really felt she could go one way or the other Well after a pretty reasonable start to her show career she went to her first Crufts yesterday at 9 months, 1 day and this is how it went…
She has absolutely blown me away! The atmosphere at Crufts is pretty overwhelming, not to mention my nerves on top of that and she literally didn't put a foot wrong all day. She did her thing, with a smile on her face like it was the most normal thing in the world. Embarrassingly I burst into tears when she
was awarded best pup but I can't hide how much this means to me. I put my heart into breeding these dogs and I could only have dreamt to have come away with an achievement like that from the biggest dog show in the world💕
Golden Oriole (Olive) was awarded a 3rd in a
very strong Junior class which was fantastic. The rest of the team were sadly not in the ribbons this time but we definitely took the best dogs home!!
