With summer just on the horizon, I’ll be offering in home grooming services on Monday and Saturday mornings beginning in June. Check out each package description below:

Basic Grooming Package: Brush out, bath, nail trim; $25.

Touch Up Package: Brush out, paw/face/sanitary trim, bath, nail trim; $40. Modeling the touch up groom- Ollie (Papillon) and Lacey (Labradoodle).

Full Grooming Package: Brush out, basic body clip, face/paws/sanitary trim, bath, nail trim; $60. Modeling the full groom- Snoopy (Pomeranian mix).

The two oldest chicks had fun exploring today!

The baby parakeets got a yummy snack today! Occasional hand feeding encourages the chicks to bond with human caretakers; before today, they were mainly interested in interacting with each other. Now, they’re making more eye contact and attempting to interact with me more often. They’re also learning that towels are wonderful to snuggle in! This will be super helpful when it’s time to clip toe nails and wing feathers in the future.

All five baby keets have finally hatched! The oldest little guy’s eyes are open and his color pattern is almost identifiable. He’ll likely be an olive and yellow spangle like Matcha 💚

The baby keets are doing wonderful! These three are between 7 and 3 days old now; the other two fertile eggs are expected to hatch by Thursday. The original nesting material has been exchanged for rolled oats which encourages the chick’s legs to develop correctly, and also doubles as a tasty snack for parents Millie and Matcha 💚
