Voting starts this Saturday! Keep an eye out on Colorado Horse Rescue Networks public Facebook for the post where you can vote. Me and River would appreciate all the votes we can get!

To ensure your vote is counted make sure you have liked CHRN’s public page or else the vote will be deleted. Only one vote is allowed per device and wifi network. If more than one person in your family is voting make sure it is on different devices and off wifi! Me and River are both very excited for everyone to see our video!

It’s been a while since I last did a River update but she’s being doing great! We have continued working on tricks and desensitization. She taken on voice commands when it comes to driving and lounging very well. We were finally able to get our hands on a harness set up. First time with any of it on and she acted like she’s been doing this her whole life. I will hopefully get some better pictures of her and her setup this week but for now enjoy these from her first try on!

River got some kid time today. She loved them! She’s definitely going to be a great pony for a little one.

Today was more of a relaxed day. She’s enjoying being the most popular horse on the street! We walked down the road and watched the scary cars pass. She also saw all the barking leaping dogs. She got a bit anxious with this all but for the most part handled it well! The last picture is her next to an 18hh horse!!

The page has to catch up with the Instagram so here are some highlights from the first 3 days with Wichita River!

River is already picking up her feet without fighting, going over obstacles, learning to tie quietly, learning to longe and so much more! She is extremely smart and confident. She’s going to make on heck of a pony!
