Hi, my names Rubble.

That’s the name that I had when I came into the ACF. I know my name most of the time, but when I’m involved with something much more fun, I ignore it. Recall training for me would be a great idea. I already know how to sit and am attentive to training, I love treats and take them gently so if you’re keen to adopt an intelligent and trainable dog, I’m your guy.

I jump- up sometimes but am very gentle, although I am 40kgs with beautiful long legs. Due to my gentle nature I’m open to meet any kids in the family. If you have had dogs before then I might be the perfect candidate for you. I have met other dogs here at the facility and have presented as social, although sometimes I’m still figuring them out and can be apprehensive.

I’m pretty cool and confident, and would need daily exercise. Stimulation like food puzzles or toys would be great to keep me occupied when you’re at work.

It appears that previously I’ve been exposed to fences and people traffic, so you can trust me to guard your property and alert you with a bark if people are approaching.

Even though I’m a big guy, I’m so good at walking on lead that you’ll think I’m a Shih Tzu! I already know how to sit and have presented super trainable, I like treats and clear direction is important for me. Daily exercise for me to get my energy out would be ideal for me and I’d so love to be an additional child for your family.

Introducing Rusty

He is a gentle, laid back youngish man who adores his family and is not a hugely demanding dog. He is happy to enjoy a pat or cuddle, and loves to snuggle with you on the bed at night (if allowed to) otherwise is happy to be on his own bed next to your bed.

Rusty does tend to favour just one person but is friendly to all who cross his path. He is a quiet, happy, easy going dog however if he has something to say he will definitely chat with you quietly at first building in volume if he feels you are just not listening to him well enough.

Rusty is fully house trained so long as he has proper access to outside areas. He adores his food but is not a fan of liver treats or like type products. He knows a number of basic commands and overall generally a well behaved dog who is not a big barker but you definitely will not miss it when he does decide to make you aware of any issues. He walks well on the lead, enjoys car rides and exploring new environments. He is a happy dog on his own or happy to have a friend if one is available or a family who is more often home than not. He has shown no huge interest in pet birds at his foster home other than curious of what are they.

Rusty can display some signs of anxiety when first being left especially at his new home but given time he settles in well.

Introducing the delightful Abby. Abby is a Rottweiler x born 26th April 2021.

EDIT: Abby was not a breeding mum. She had just the one litter which have not long been weaned off her hence her breeding look.

Abby is a beautiful young lady who loves nothing more than spending time with people. She can get a bit boisterous and jumpy at times, so a home with older children would be beneficial for her so she can’t accidentally knock little ones over.

Abby tested well with other dogs, both large & small. If you have another dog at home we will need to do a meet & greet with her to ensure they get along before going home.

Abby was very focused on cats & pocket pets so we are recommending a home with no small animals like cats, chickens & rabbits.

Abby has shown no signs of food aggression towards humans however she is untested with eating near other animals. She also hasn't shown signs of separation anxiety at the facility or while she was in foster care.

Abby is such a loving girl who wants nothing more than a home she can call her own and not have to worry about losing another family.

Introducing Beethoven! Beethoven is a Rottweiler x Staffy born on 1st November 2022.

Beethoven is currently housed with his siblings and they love to play and get along very well. He loves human companions and meeting new friends.

Like every pup, Beethoven will thrive with early socialisation and exposure to many different people, sights, sounds, and experiences will ensure he grows to be a well rounded man.

He still has so much to learn about the world and life and would love to be in a home where he is included as a member of the family. Beethoven will thrive in an environment that guides him with positive direction and lots of love and attention.

Being young he is still growing into his personality, but this little guy is a very loving pup who cant wait to find his forever home.

Please note that if you have an existing dog in residence, we will require a meet and greet to ensure they get along and will be always best buddies. When organising a meet and greet, we will require a current vaccination certificate for your existing dog to ensure that there is no chance of infecting the pups who are currently not up to date with their vaccinations.

Due to no “fault” sweet young Roxy has been returned to rescue .

After 3 months with her family it was clear the environment was overstimulating for Roxy (small rambunctious kids, various visitors and too many off lead puppers in the area ). We all agreed it was in Roxy’s best long term interest to try for a quieter, calmer environment.

Roxy is just shy of her 2nd birthday . She is of course desexed , microchipped and vaccinated. We recommend a calm household with older kids, no cats and as a single dog or only with a highly social dog Roxy’s size .

Update : Midnight has been adopted ❤️❤️

Little man Midnight is 10 weeks old and he's a kelpie x Rottie, so we think he will grow into a medium-large, active dog.

Midnight has been having a ball in foster care, mixing with the family dogs, goats, chickens and cats and learning all about life.

He's a typical pup who sometimes likes to have a little nibble on clothing, and who loves to explore the world. He'll thrive in a home where they have time to teach him what a great place the world is, and to help him learn his big dog manners.

💚OUR LOLLIPOP IS STILL LOOKING FOR A NEW HOME 💚
🍭LOLLIPOP is a one-year-old female Rottweiler, located in Sydney.
She is sweet as candy despite looking like a bouncer at a nightclub:
Lollipop is an Inside dog and just wants to hang by your side. She will not be happy if put outside for hours on her own.
Lollipop is ok to be crated for a few hours during the day if she’s had a decent walk in the morning.
No cats or small pets.
Lollipop is a companion dog; she loves her people and is very ripe for training. She’d be good at obedience training 😁
🍭 She loves children and would do well with them providing they are over 10 years of age. She really likes other dogs but gets over excited with puppyish enthusiasm and needs gentle consistent training to make her a well-rounded member of doggo society.
🍭 She is almost 100% house trained and is excellent on the lead with her “haltie”.
🍭 She is super affectionate and loving; she just wants to hang out with you and snuggle. She is crate trained, she'll sleep in there all night and during the day if you’re out.
🍭 Lollie is a beautiful big girl. Large breed experience is preferable, she does not need another dog in her home providing she gets plenty of exercise each day and is not left alone for long hours.
