I am so very sorry to do this, as it's been brought to my attention, our website needs some work. It is me, I am doing the website, and I am not good at it, as well as there is a need for transparency which a website does not offer but a social media platform does. I am working to make the website better than our original 2002 version, back when smart phones and tablets weren't a thing (if anyone can send me a contact for help, I'll take it), but we always want to be open and honest about our dogs. The entire purpose for the HMG FB page was for you guys to post, your photos, your comments, your things; for HMG families to connect: not for us to moderate or really be a part of unless in the background, liking and loving, leaving comments.
Please pardon us, while our website gets the momentum it is used to having, if we post anticipated litters, born litters and the like, would that be ok? If you guys are against this, then I will not do it. Again, this page is for HMG families, not for me, and was set up when we realized that families stopped emailing photos of their pups and posted to social media. We wanted a way for those photos to be shared that I and Lori (HMG) saw and could enjoy! We love each and everyone of our families and grandpups and wanted to see all that you guys had to share.

I introduce Orange from Fergie x Jagger. This bruiser is large, but doesn't know it. He would be amazing for a service dog, extended training or just the family that wants a velcro dog. He is not afraid, and is good with new people, animals, environments and situations. Always up for whatever, but stays in a heel position out of respect without being trained heel. #

If anyone is wondering why they aren't seeing our posts. FB changed a little thing that I learned about on my horse page. Not only do you have to like the page, you have to then click the link to follow and set your notifications preference up. Website is 90% of the way up and going, still tweaking some things, but everything is up to date, and even with new photos taken today!

So, let me start off by saying I HATE change, but I got the new website up and going tonight!!!! I don't love the logo, wish it didn't have the white around it, but I think for new to us families it's clean and easy to use. I will be adding more pages/links, like the our dogs, past litters, puppy checklist and favorite things in the next few days. But at least tonight, after over a year in production it is up, workable and see-able!

So our new website is just about to be launched, I've seen the preview and I LOVE it, unfortunately the designer is down with Covid, with 3 littles. So forgiveness is being given and we are all going to take a deep breath and be ok with the delay. In the meantime, let me spam you with some new puppy photos!

So my parents are thinking of getting another dog, any recommendations for in ground fence? They are in Melbourne FL

22/07/2020

So, this has been a question I have been asked more than once, and I just don't have the answer to it; is there a pet insurance you prefer and why?? I know I had insurance on my OG's and I did do the upgrade for the first year to pay for routine things, A- don't know if that's still a thing, and B-sure a whole lotta things have changed. When we did it, it was a tad bit more to cover routine, but you could cancel routine and just go to catastrophic/unexpected, so we did routine, which paid for itself compared to the catastrophic plan when you factored in booster shots, rabies tag and spay/neuter for the first year to 18 months (depending on when you and your vet decide to do spay/neuter). Then after the anticipated things were done, we dropped down to catastrophic/unexpected. It was very helpful with our Sasha, even covered her euthanasia and cremation on a dropped down catastrophic/unexpected plan. I DO remember one thing, the company that we went with reimbursed us, we had to pay 100% out of pocket, but the plan reimbursement was only a few days from submitting the invoice and payment proof. Any advice from the HMG family?

12/07/2020

Hello everyone! Hope that you all are doing well. I could use a little advice to pass on to a new HMG family member on suggestions for stairs for their new addition for the bed. My guys don't like to be in the bed, too hot so I don't use stairs for them to get up and down from the bed. But if you have a suggestion, favorite purchase you have made, please share!

It has been with heavy heart and our own desire to process it, that we didn't announce it when it occurred. We have said goodbye to Di/Diana on 6/5/20 at the age of 15 years old. We hope she waits for us on the other side of the rainbow bridge.

Got this great photo from Bentley, he is from the start of HMG, he is from the first ever HMG litter, an original 4/25/2006 Layla x Rufus.

I don't have the right words, Abby Middleton was amazing, and like a sister I didn't know I had. She was one of the original HMG families with Lillee out of our 2nd ever litter, then added Brady and Larry. She was a huge part of our family and took the time to connect with many of our new families. We offer our deepest condolences to her husband, kids and family as they grieve the loss of this happy, bubbly, friend to everyone individual that I know personally, made my life better because I knew her.

Anyone know of a great vet in West Palm area?

09/04/2020

Guys, join in, it'll make someone laugh, show us a "bad" photo of your four legged friends! I know Abby has some!

09/04/2020

When it's blusday, choctober, 2020, and someone asks for words and you think pic. Yep this happened. What I read was take a pic of the dogs in the house. That was not the question. But since I woke Lori up trying to get the family portrait, here ya go.

Saw this and had to share!
