Paww Pointers: Even if it for ”10 minutes.” The inside of your car (even with the windows cracked open) can be as much as 20 degrees hotter! On a day where it is 85 degrees it only takes ten minutes for your car to reach 102 degrees. And within 30 minutes, it can reach 120 degrees. 🐾 🐶

Several dogs tend to have excessive drooling, weakness, and some even collapse. Symptoms can also include seizures, diarrhea, and vomit. Dogs with flat faces, like Pugs, are ore susceptible to heat strokes since they cannot pant as effectively. 🐾 🐶

Paww Pointers: Give them plenty of fresh, clean water and always make sure you and your fur baby never leave the house with out it! Dogs should always have some sort of access to shade because they know when they need to cool themselves down. It may be helpful to carry a beach umbrella on your adventures! 🐾 🐶

Paww Pointers: Crazy we know, but it’s true! Dogs can get sunburn too. Especially those with short or light-colored coats. That being said, sunburns on dogs can also lead to skin cancer. Make sure not to assume that sunscreen for people is appropriate for your dog. 🐾 🐶

Want to make a quick frozen treat to keep your fur baby cool in this heat? 🐾 INGREDIENTS
🐾 1 cup (8oz/120g) plain yogurt
🐾 10 strawberries , diced
🐾 20 blueberries INSTRUCTIONS:
🐾 In your dog treat mold or ice cube tray scatter in your strawberries and blueberries.
🐾 Spoon over the yogurt. Fill evenly and smooth the top.
🐾 Tap on the counter to ensure there are no air bubbles and the mixture is evenly distributed.
🐾 Freeze for a minimum of 5 hours or overnight.
🐾 To remove tap on the counter to loosen then turn out. If you have any trouble, quickly run the mold under warm water to help the treats release then turn out. Enjoy!

Here’s a yummy Monday morning treat to keep all my furry friends cool on this hot day!

What you need:
•1 banana peeled
•2 cups chicken broth
•1/4 cup blueberries

Directions:
1.Blend together the banana and chicken broth in a blender until smooth.
2.Add blueberries to mixture and stir.
3.Pour mixture into silicon ice molds and freeze until solid.
ENJOY 🐾
