Hi Mom~ Can you see me? Look for the tip of my little nose. See there it is - a little white nose.. Aunty Kathy moved me downstairs now. Suzy, Bandit, Ella, Simba, and Peanut left. Next door to me is Stormi - kind of a pretty girl mom! She also looks very sweet not like the one upstairs.. She gave Aunty Kathy lots of headaches.

I got a tunnel to take home - do you see it - nice and red. I love being downstairs. Theres lots of bunnies here _ some run around and do whatever they want. I think they Belong to Aunty Kathy. She mutters about them a lot.

We have had amazing food delivered to the house. Tomorrow night we get to try Auntie's special bundons! and we get forage toys to play with..

I like to sit in my tunnel and scare Aunty. She was looking for me earlier and i was hiding at the back of the tunnel It was lots of fun.

How is Scotland? Aunty says its a wonderful place and maybe I will get to see it one day with you. Anyways I am doing fine! Enjoying my food and hay and Aunty says I am a good boy - a very good boy.

Hey mom and dad! Its me Simba. Aunty says i am such a sweet bunny she would adopt me in a minute. Ella is in the hidey house destroying it. I tried to talk to her but Aunty says dont worry its all good.

Bandit is still sneezing and Aunty says to take him to the vet when you get back - he might have an upper respiratory issue. He is eating no problem. We are devouring first cut timonthy. Mom it is soooooooooo good. All of us even Peanut are pigging out.

We got these amazing treats - a mix of dandelion and roses that Aunty made.. We get to be treats testers - (we might come home a bit chubby)

Our meals have been amazing - every day different choices for breakfast and dinner. Aunty says we have to eat well and be healthy! Can I just say we all go nuts over pellets? Oh and apple slices and banana. Mom we are crazy bunnies when it comes to bananas.

Today is a real treat. After our areas were cleaned we got our very own cubes to hang out in. Cubes mom - they are so cool! Aunty says they are ours to take home. She says you will make room for any toys we get!

Aunty loves little Peanut cause he is so small and sweet. He is being a very good bunny..

How is the cruise? Anyone being seasick? We get to play today and watch cartoons while Aunty is making some new treats!

Gotta go. I am one of her favorite taste testers! Oh we had fennel today with breakfast.. sooooooooooo yummy! We love purslane and grape leaves.. they are delicious mom!

Hi Mom! Its me Cole! I wanted to let you know that I am eating everything - all my greens, my pellets and my hay. I am sharing a room with Duck and Tosh. Duck is a very nice boy bunny. His partner Tosh is completely wild. Never get me a girl like her mom! Duck often tells me how worn out he is trying to keep her from destroying the room.

I love my greens. We get something new every day. I have had purslane, beet leaves, grape leaves, different herbs, mint from Aunty Kathys garden, endive lettuce, romaine lettuce - I could go on. The treats are amazing. Dried apple slices every morning and all kinds of treats at night.

Aunty says I am the best bunny ever. She says I am a very sweet boy who is gorgeous. She made me blush.

I am eating all my hay and Aunty says my p**ps are excellent. No tummy problems here at all.

I hope you are having fun on your trip and can hardly wait to see you again! But in the meantime I have adopted Aunty Kathy and i am getting more hugs today cause she is spending a lot of time with us today.

Hi Mom. Its me Simba again! It was very busy here yesterday so I could not get to the laptop. Aunty was doing something outside and came in and said she is going to die. I don't think she meant it because we got dinner.

Dinner mom was sooo good. We got our regular herbs and grape leaves.. Do you know how good grape leaves? oh my we all licked our plates clean! For dessert we got BANANA.. BANANNA. BIG PIECE OF BANANA. We all went crazy. Aunty says she has to film us.

This morning more gourment food - grape leaves, beet leaves, carrot tops with little tiny carrots at the end.. OH IT WAS SO GOOD. On top of our regular herbs .. Suzy was zooming around. By the way she has never even tried to attack Aunty.

We have devoured our first cut timothy (thats what Aunty called it) and are getting more.. more.. its so good mom!

Usually Ella and I cuddle after breakfast cause we are stuffed. We eat every piece and even lick our plates.

There is a bunny here by the name of Finn. He seems to constantly be in trouble... Aunty is always pulling him out of something.

We get to watch cartoons all day which is cool. Thats it for now mom. Aunty is starting to clean our liter boxes..

Peanut says hello too.. He is in Auntys room and gets cuddles every night. I think he is going to be very spoiled when he gets home.

Welcome to the Keung Family! Some of my favorite bunnies! We have couples Simba and Ella, Suzy and Bandit, and little Peanut.

So can you believe it the hooman pinecones are off on another sojourn and we are at Aunty Kathys AGAIN. Honestly you would think that as part of the family we too could go on a cruise. I mean talk about cheap hoomans!

So here we are in our areas. There are couple of crazy bunnies here named Hathaway Finn and Lewis. Hathaway is stealing our hay mom.. She comes and eats with me and Ella! I mean she has her own hay so I don:t understand the issue.....

Oh and mom I dont know why you told Aunty that Suzy attacks when being fed cause, uh, thats not happening. In fact Bandit and Suzy got picked up and kissed. One thing when we are here we get slobbered on a lot. Then we have to wash ourselves again.

We got some hidey houses to destroy and some stuffed tp rolls with forage in them, yummy dinner and treats mom.. Trearts! Aunty says we are not getting enough because we are way too polite when she is handing them out. Hathaway clings to her legs to get her treats.

By the way one picture of Peanut is weird because he was on Auntys chest cuddling and she tried to take a picture without herself in it. She said she is not fit for human viewing.

So its almost bedtime but Aunty is cleaning.. Something about those "frigging w's". A little unclear on what that is.

We don't miss you cause we are very comfy here but you better come back with some treats for us!

By the way Alaska?? Could you not go to some bunny toy shop somewhere?

Hi mom and dad! I was climbing in the big thing - auntie calls it tosh's jail - tonight. Its really cool.. I like laying on the pirate blanket. We had a really yummy dinner and i got two treats tonight! two treats mom!

Auntie and I cuddled for quite a while and i got lots of kisses. I hope you dont mind but I gave Auntie kisses too! (Jill Pippa gave me a whole bunch of kisses - it was awesome!!!) She read us all a book about a bunny called Duck. I think she wrote it about Duck the grey bunny.

She has confirmed that Tosh the little lionhead is a demon (not sure what that means but that bunny does not stop doing things - I would never do those things!) and sending her back is a possibility. I have chatted with Tosh and she says that will never happen.

All is good and I hope you are having a good time!

Hey mom and dad! We were busy last night so I did not have a chance to write you! I met Auntie Kathys new bunny Tosh.. (She is nuts mom - ask auntie!). I am in the upstairs room now cause Peanut is in my usual place (Auntie says he has been sad cause his brother passed away). I like it up here. I have a view of the ocean And Duck and Tosh are next door. Duck is a very sweet boy who is bossed around by Tosh. I get cuddles every night and we have chats about moms and bunnies. I love being cuddled by Auntie. I have lots of toys to play with. We had a visitor last night - some very strange looking black and white bunny called Willow. I do not think she was supposed to be up there because I heard Auntie giving her a lecture.

Mom if you ever get me a friend make sure it is not a double maned lionhead (auntie says they are a nightmare).

Tonight we got fresh kale from the garden, parsley, dill, spring lettuce and some raspberries. It was soooooooo good!

Oh and auntie says to tell you that she put two bags of first cut hay away for me when you come back. Its really yummy!

TIPS FOR BUNNY OWNERS.

Bunny boarding is becoming a bigger business in the lower mainland. Boarding is definitely necessary. After all bunny slaves are entitled to a break!

But there are some things a bunny owner should be aware of and should ask.

Is your boarder trained to deal with GI stasis. Do they know what to do and have a procedure that will ensure your rabbit recevies proper care? Do they know the heimlich manouver? Have they administered medication?

How much time will be spent with your rabbit?

Outside time? I am not a proponent of boarders taking bunnies outside unless it is a properly built predator proof contained area. Very few if any can provide this. Additionally they have to stay with the rabbit the whole time. Your rabbit is safer being in its enclosed area within the home. They will not miss out on anything for a few days.

What kind of meals and how often will they be served? Do you have specific needs for your bunny and will the boarder follow through on those?

How much experience does the boarder have with rabbits. Cats, dogs, guinea pigs have different requirements.

Is the business run professionally? Do you receive an invoice? Cash only businesses should be carefully reviewed.

DO NOT TAKE ANYTHING FOR GRANTED. BUNNIES ARE FRAGILE LITTLE CREATURES.

All animals deserve the best care while you are away. Do not assume because someone runs a rescue or helps at a rescue that they automatically know how to care for a bunny. That is a fallacy i see posted often on bunny sites!

As a bunny owner I know I would worry about my critters being cared for by someone who is scamming the government or having minimal knowledge of rabbits needs!

Please always check before you board. Remember a qualified boarder is usually booked way ahead!

Hi guys! Mamma and Ollie decided I Simba will be the spokesperson. After all I have known Grandma the longest!

So mom and dad the food is great and fresh. You know how weird grandma is about getting food from the garden. It has been an exiciting week.

Did you know Grandma has to do a ton of butt checks every day. Well of course Ollie cause we all know his problem. But she has to check Peanut, Willow (oh that is one strange little bunny), and Olaf every day. Sometimes Grandma mutters things... one day she said "where did I go wrong". Not sure what she was referring to.

Mom you have to talk to Grandma about her singing in the morning. I forgot she likes to sing that weird Croatian song about bunnies. By the way how is Croatia? Grandma says you are driving to Dubrovnik today. She said its a fantastic place.

Now I have to tell you that the last two days I decided i did not want to take my metacam. Grandma was worried. Both days she picked me up and kissed me all over and tried to talk sense to me. Yesterday I just shed all over her and ignored her. She ddi get some into me eventually. Today I made her pick me up and kiss me all over. I tried to crawl on to her head but she was not really into it. So she gave me the metacam the old fashioned way. Grandma is too smart. But i got tons of kisses and then shed all over her again. hehehehehehe. I love my Grandma....

We got banana slices for dessert. She gave Ollie a small one too and then said.. Simba I forgot.. can Ollie have these??? But his butt was fine this morning.

I have to say mom, Grandma is a great butt checker...

She dired some strawberries for us and we got those for dessert one night.. MOM THEY ARE SUPER GOOD.

She told me secretely that she bought apricots for us for tonight. Poor Ollie he is missing out on so many good things. Oh I forgot to tell you we got dried carrot tops stuff in chewy rolls for fun the otehr day.

Tonight is games night. I wonder what grandma will give us.

I miss Tija mom. She watches over us all the time. I remember being in grandmas office with Tija when she was little and we would hang out together.

Grandma says she is going to take more pictures when we stop p**ping all over. Oh and she said to tell you the p**ps are good!

Hi Mom and Dad! How is Europe? Grandma says you owe her a big one! (WE know she loves us but I think she wants a weekend off) She makes all the bunnies in the hosue watch Croatia at Eurocup and All, I Simba, can say is thank goodness they tied today. Grandma likes to rant and rave during the games. We are working with Hathaway and Finn and Lewis to make sure she keeps her sugar levels up so she does not loose her mind completely!

So we all want to know where are you now? Germany? Switzerland? Croatia? Grandma has lost track. She mumbles a lot lately.. something about p**p in particular!

Ollie likes Grandma and lets her pick him up and check his butt all the time. He has been really good about eating his critical care.

Mamma likes Grandma too although she does mention that you and her have some similarities. Dont know how you feel about that Mom! I have been really good about taking my Metacam and eating all my food.

Grandma gives us Socks slices every morning and I miss that about living with her. Mamma likes it too and I explained that is a Grandma thing. The bunnies here are really spoiled... Its all about their food and treats! I feel sorry for Grandma - she is such a pushover.

Hows Dad doing? Has he enjoyed the trip so far? Tell him we miss him too! Grandma was fixing some plumbing and mentioned his name a few times.. something like of all the times for Tom to go to Europe......

Anyways we are great and look forward to our gifts from the old country.

Hey Mom and Poppa! I hear you are coming tomorrow Mom! Auntie Kathy is packing up treats for me.. I love my sliced apple in the morning - she calls them Socks slices! They are so yummy - organic ambrosia apple slices.. mmmm.

So Mom I have a question - Can we take Marie home? She is annoying like a mosquito but I kind of like having her arouind chatting with me. Auntie Kathy Tells her all the time she is high maintenance. Not sure what that means because she seems like a normal rabbit.. except.. for the constant talking. But honestly Mom is hysterical. Raffi her partner is very quiet. I guess he does not get a chance really.

I got groomed the other night (forgot to tell you) and saw the w's. I remember them from last time.. They are still bad Auntie Kathy says.

Do you like my picture? This is me getting my 'yabuka" dried apple. I am learning a second language Mom - I will have to teach you.

Auntie Kathy says i am a beautiful baby and i get kissed all the time. I really enjoy it. I noticed when Marie gets kissed she grunts and then cleans herself top to bottom. She is a weird bunny but highly entertaining. I really think we should bring her home.

Hi Mom! Pippa here! Its games night tonight. I got treats in the cups and Auntie Kathy is showing me how to play . She says if i can ace this game she has another one for me = something called the snuffle matt. I am having loads of fun.. Auntie Kathy insists on kissing me all the time. Marie says its better to just put up with it cause her mom is nuts. Marie hangs out all the time next to me. She still tells all kinds of stories and I am not sure if I can believe them all.

Mom Auntie Kathy wants to tell you something so I will let her interrupt right now and then I will tell you more!

Jill that chewy house you have for Pippa is something to be aware of. A friends bunny got stasis from it. I notice that Pippa was chewing on it all the time but not eating her greens. So I have taken it away and now she is eating her greens no problem. I will give it back again but in moderation. But make sure she cant have it all the time. They sell it like a toy but its like a candy addiction.!

Okay its me Pippa again! I am having loads of fun and apparently we are all getting groomed tomorrow night. This is one busy house Mom! The bunny gossip mill says that after grooming we get treats.. i like that part!

We get yummy greens - every day is different. I have decided I do not like dill but Aunite Kathy says thats fine - we are all different. I love mint though - soooooooooo yummy! Marie says her favorite thing is dill - figures right? Raffiki says its all good. Apparently he is quite the connoisseur. Tomorrow we are getting a breakfast of sweet cicely, raddicchio, and parsley... mouth watering. Sweet cicely the buns told me is foraged greens. Its what wild bunnys eat and Auntie Kathys friend grows in his garden. This is so exciting Mom. I get to eat food my ancestors ate!

Hey Mom! It's me Pippa! We have had a few exciting days here! We had an interesting night. The power went out about 10 pm and did not come back until 730 in the morning. It was very funny watching Auntie Kathy check on us all with a lit up rabbit. She explained it was a gift that charged on USB and she has it ready all the time!

Marie is driving her nuts she claims. Marie visits me all the time - she is a very bossy bunny and tries to tell me how i am supposed to behave. She has a philosophy that humans are pinecones and must obey the bunnies.. Her husbun Raffiki is pretty chill and often rolls his eyes when she is lecturing. I kind of like him.

Food is good as normal. Auntie Kathy is always picking me up and kissing me.. Geez humans! Marie might have a point. She picked Marie up the other day and kissed her all over and Marie yakked and yakked at her - Marie is very vocal Mom! She talks endlessly.

Things are back to normal now - lights on! Auntie Kathy is making some treats for us which we get to try tonight.. mmmmm. I know I know not too many treats! But I am eating everything healthy Mom!

Gotta go someone just showed up!

Hi Mom! Hope your journey was safe. Poppa dropped me off and met the crazy bunnies here! He thought Auntie Kathy trimmed Hathaways hair.. That was funny! Hathaway is a massive bunny with a really long mane! Poppa said she would be great for films.

Did I tell you about Marie? She is a mini me but Auntie Kathy says she is a netherland dwarf and to watch out for her. She comes to visit and grunt at me. Marie told me she is the boss of the house. Auntie Kathy says to ignore her. Marie grunted at her.

I am having fun already; played cups and got a stuff tp roll with oat hay (Mom you have to remember this)..
