Life is so unpredictable. If only we could press the pause button to catch our breath.

We're getting settled in after a turbulent start to the year. I could not be more grateful for our support system. Despite it all, I've watched these dogs grow and mature into themselves and I am so very proud of them.

In a couple weeks this crazy girl will be strutting her stuff at the Tri Cities cluster and trying out fastCAT for the first time. We plan to stop by the health clinic on site while we're there too to knock out her OFA exams.

With their second birthday approaching on October 5, I will hopefully be getting at least Topaz in for her OFA hips, elbows, and LCP certs and then moving forward with thyroid when time and funds allow.

This page has been inactive for some time due to some big life changes we've been handling. I hope to post more in the coming weeks, including a "rebrand" of sorts that I've been working on.

For now, enjoy this cooperative (although skeptical) boy tolerating some grooming time in our hotel last weekend in Missoula!

It's summer time and the puppies have discovered the pool! Onyx can't stay away, Topaz is still skeptical.

I could not be more proud of these babies. Onyx took home a reserve winners over some good competition in Missoula last weekend, which was a very exciting development in our showing journey together as our first "real win".

Topaz is ready to start her journey into the show ring soon as well, I think she's going to do a great job. 💕

It's mother's day, so I have to make a special mention to this little mama. I could not have dreamed of a better dog. Halo far exceeded my expectations raising this litter. I can't sing her praises enough. Even as the puppies got older she continued to care for and teach them with the patience of a saint. I am so thankful for her and all of the happiness and fulfilment she's brought into my life over the years.

Good job Halo, you beautiful little soul. 💕

Yakima is complete for us!!

First day we got 2nd in puppy class and today we took home first.

Onyx has been making great progress in his performance in the ring and I couldn't be more proud. This little dog has been such a great partner to learn with. Time for a well deserved break before Spokane/CDA in May! 💕

What a ruff life 🐶 Yakima this weekend and then a well deserved break for us for a few weeks before the local shows! Onyx is making strides with his confidence in the ring and stood so well for the judge on the table today.

Lewiston was a great success, although we were the only ones in puppy class it was still excellent exposure for Onyx (and Topaz too). Fingers crossed that Topaz starts to feel a little more confident and she can get out into the ring sometime soon too 💕

Our first show is complete!

Onyx did so well for his first time out and I was able to pick up on things that we need to work on at home to improve his performance at future shows.

Thank you judge Andrea Bradford for your patience with us as we learn. We are so grateful!

Competition was sparse today but it was great practice for Onyx and I, and walking away with ribbons when we very well could have left with none makes it just as exciting as if we had won.

I cannot thank Daystar Poms enough for all of the love and guidance she has shown us. This wouldn't have been possible without you!

And a special thank you to my mom for driving all the way out to support us too 💕

Really looking forward to the next couple of weekends, and hopefully I can get Topaz out there soon too 🥰
