DemGoats Sigurd’s daughter JoJo was Senior Champion and Grand Champion at the Youth Florida State show. DEMGOATS Ophelia was Reserve Sr Champion Doe in 2 of 3 shows this weekend. Congratulations ladies!

DEMGOATS Sigurd completed his 4th and final leg of the Master Champion class. Our first Master Champion Buck. We have loved him since he was born and can’t wait to see more of his babies on the ground! Thank you to all those have had a hand in raising him!

Very proud of this young man and his first year of showing Pygmy wethers from our herd. E. Zumberger won Champion and Reserve Champion Wethers at the Auglaize County Fair today. Also enjoyed watching M Limbert show her beautiful animals and want to wish her Congratulations on her Champion and Reserve Champion Does and overall Champion and Reserve Champion Pygmy Goats. So fun to sit with other breeders and watch our goats do well!

Well I messed up and didn’t get any photos at the Shelby County Fair Pygmy goat show on Tuesday morning. It was an honor to provide the awards again this year and to visit with long time friends and make new ones. There were 49 goats in the show even with our decision to sit this year out. Pleased to say that of those 49, we had full or partial bloodlines in 25 of the goats. Was able to promote the OPGA and NPGA and our upcoming show August 28-29 at the fairgrounds. Today I’m heading to Clermont County to support Peg Galvinand family showing their goats. Absolutely love goat shows and especially this wonderful breed!

Congratulations to Claire Stott and her mom Carrie Kinninger Martz on Grand Champion Pygmy Doe at the Clark County Fair today. Claire was 3rd in showmanship and 3rd with her DemGoats Aveline doe. Love watching kids take great care of our stock.

Had a fantastic time watching two wonderful families showing their wethers from us at the Wabash County fair in Wabash, Indiana. All the kids did a great job and were blessed to place well in their classes. They even had 2 division winners, 3rd place overall and Grand Champion. Love seeing these kids do well!

Had a fun time at the OPGA show in Wooster this weekend. Thank you to the show committees and chair persons for such a wonderful job. Announcing DEMGOATS first Jr Champion Doe And Reserve Grand Champion Doe DEMGOATS Mary Margaret Remembered, owned and shown by Cynthia Wayts and family! We are so excited to watch does we have bred doing so well for others in the ring. Happy to say all of our does were in the top 5 of their classes. We absolutely love our goats and love how their owners love them.

Wonderful time in Chestertown, Maryland this weekend at the KPGC Show! Thank you to our hosts Stephanie and Lisa of Knee Deep Farm who graciously shared this beautiful setting with us. DemGoats Rascal earned a Best Wether and 2 Reserve Wethers. DemGoats Sylvia became our first Rosette winner for Does in the history of our herd. Thank you to our judges, Lisa Bragg, Karen Crawford and Jason Overman.
A great time with the Gall and Beaver families and meeting new friends like Gretchen Van Echo. Oh and cross another thing off the bucket list— the Chesapeake Bay

Kidding season is done at DemGoats Farm. All babies have homes except for 2 bucklings. If you are interested in a buck or wether let us know. Wethers are $175 and bucks $350. Another great weekend showing goats at the OPGA Wapak Pygmy Classic. My first time as show chair and it was wonderful to see all the breeders, goats and volunteers who helped along the way. A big thank you to all who helped and our great judges Kelly Culp and Jenny Cisco. And DEM GOATS Sigurd earned 2 more legs on his quest for Master Champion status. One more leg to go! Love our boy!

What a wonderful day at the Virginia is for Pygmies show today in Amelia Courthouse. Thank you to the show committee and NPGC for putting on the event! DEMGOATS had several firsts for our herd today. DEMGOATS Rascal received his first 2 Best Wether Ribbons and DEMGOATS Sigurd finished his final leg to become our 1st Permanent Grand Champion Buck and then won the 1st leg of his Master Champion quest! I was also able to see a beautiful farm and home for DEMGOATS I’m Wyatt Earp and Francine. Thanks Amy Koposko Campbell for sharing it with me! Also spending time with new friends in the world of Pygmy Goats❤️.
