Lucky (male, top) and Boots (female, bottom)are 7 weeks old now and are ready for adoption next week! They were found in the middle of a highway and we would love to see them go together as a bonded pair if possible. If you’re ready for some cuteness, please send us a message about their adoption. 💕

It’s a wonder what a difference an evening makes in the life of a young sick kitten. A quick assessment of a kitten situation immediately turned into a rescue as soon as we saw how severe their eye infections were. Meet little Hero, the sickest of the 5 and weighing half as much as his largest sibling. He was the one to signal for help and let our friend Kasey know they needed assistance ASAP! They not only have severe eye infections but also upper respiratory infections. They are going to their new home today with a foster family for Fat Kitty City Rescue in Sacramento that has incredible access to medical care! Hero is not only the smallest and the sickest but also super playful, loves to groom and is completely endearing to be around. 💕He’s going to make an amazing best friend one day as will the rest of his siblings! We are blessed to have been a part of this rescue effort!

Went to assess a feral kitten situation today and couldn’t leave these babies there with their eye infections. 😭

Our newest kittens were rescued from the middle of a busy highway after a friend of ours straddled one with his truck and trailer and immediately realized what it was. Meet Lucky (black, male) and Boots (female, black and white). They will be ready for adoption in a few short weeks 💕

This is what I came home to 2 evenings ago when my husband decided to rescue a cat family consisting of a friendly Mama cat and her TWELVE solid black babies! Lots of eye infections and underweight kittens and one super exhausted Mama cat 😢

This was what I came home to on Tuesday evening when my amazing husband decided to rescue a Mama cat and her TWELVE black kittens! Lots of eye infections and concerns about their weight. We have never had a litter weigh this little. Smallest ones was under half a lb and we are guessing 3-4 weeks old by behavior💕
