It's so hard watching a child struggle with bullying situations. We want our kids to be happy and not come home in tears. But how can you help them?

🐴 We offer an Anti-Bullying Skill Development Program proven to develop self-confidence, and communication skills, for kids aged 8-12.

🐴 The best part is we work with horses to learn these skills! There is no riding involved, we work with horses on the ground so no horse experience is needed.

How can horses bring you a step forward in your life?

I have spent my entire life being around horses and something that I grew up being grateful for was their ability to make me feel better, no matter the cause, of my anguish. From teenage friend problems in my youth, to grieving the death of my Dad, to work and family stress, horses have allowed me to shed tears and talk through difficult times without fear of judgement. Horses can read us and feel our energy. They truly have an amazing power to heal hidden wounds that we lock away. Horses communicate with us using body language and they are constantly watching us in return. Horses bring a sense of calm and force us to live in the moment while we are with them. You simply have to let go of your worry and stress when working with a 1000 pound animal, they require 100% of your attention.
Our workshops offer women the power to change, to move into their next step and to find and become their authentic selves, and that’s a beautiful thing. There is no riding involved and experience with horses is not needed. We spend time with these incredible animals on the ground.

I’m often asked, “Where did the business name Pyramid Equine come from?” Well, my grandfather was a horse wrangler and hunting guide in the mountains back in the 1930’s. One of his favourite spots that he travel through was Pyramid Lake in Jasper National Park. When he started his own purebred cattle operation he named his herd Pyramid Herefords. Years later my dad took over the ranch and the herd name continued. That’s where I grew up raising cattle and riding horses. Grandpa was also the one that brought me home my first pony. Pyramid was such an important part of my heritage and upbringing it seemed like a natural choice for my business name. It also relates to my goal of helping people build personal skills one block at a time. @ Ponoka, Alberta
