Sorry it posted before I got to type. There was some frustrating trials!! But here we are. These are not sewn in 6 clustered…it’s six squares. Which is a row. Only 5 more rows or 30 more for 1 size. Ugly quilt in process, it’s not perfect but it’s much better than the early frustrations.

Working on a quilt for my daughter. She loves rainbows. Draws them on the sidewalk, colors them in coloring books and any papers you give her. Grateful she sees all the colors, the beauty and all the corners of the world and all their shades.

This is to be an “Ugly Quilt” not because of the colors … it is based on a book, of course, where you are to go to the clearance fabric section and “home” this hideous fabric. Patterns non-matching, wonky, ugly, etc. a blanket that is meant for picnics, cold nights on the couch or in bed, when you’re feel nauseated or maybe even sick to cuddle with, to wrap in on a mental health day while eating a quart of ice cream. It’s made with love! It should be a blanket that takes a lickin’ and yet it’s the “go to” for comfort.

Interested in following along? It’s going to take a long time, but the goal is Christmas. Since it will be July 25 is just a few days away…we will start this Ugly Quilt one square at a time.

Happy Holiday Season! Merry Christmas! Happy Advent! Happy Kwanza! Happy Hanukkah! Happy New Year! Happy Holiday Season!

We are bustling around getting ready for the season and winter is about to happen. Cards are in the mail. Tree still needs dug out. House is busting at the seams…life has taken over. There’s so much going on, we made the decision to close up shop. We’ve enjoyed making, creating, packaging, and mailing to you and all our Pet Friends. For now, our road is ending but who knows what lays ahead. Maybe a craft show in the spring. If you want information on a possible craft show in the future, message me. We will keep a list to let you all know when & where.

Thank you for all the love, laughter and all the model pictures! We love all your pups just as we do our own. Always Beginning Grateful and for now Ending Grateful too.

Hi everyone! It’s been quiet. Spent 12 days inpatient with my son last month so playing catch up & our regular programming at home. It’s exhausting but we are getting there. Hope you all have a chance to enjoy this beautiful weather!!

We are still here! It’s been crazy busy since school started. Thank you to Audrey and Beth who contacted us to make purchases to share with others. Thank you. Next week is the marathon here in Akron. Doing the half but walking it (24th of September) walking with my Son’s Buddy. She amazing and my inspiration to try to run. Still not there yet but cooler weather is coming and I do much better with less heat & humidity! Say a prayer or send positive vibes I just want to finish the 13.1 miles. Thank you for being here! Have an exciting new Bandana to share…(my son’s hat not included).

The Ten Commandments of Dog Ownership

1. My life is likely to last 10-15 years. Any separation from you will be very hard and painful for me. Remember that before you adopt me.
2. Give me time to understand what you want from me. Please be patient with me.
3. Place your trust in me. It is crucial for my well being.

First day of High school! She did awesome today & was super Excited! Back to routine! She’s doing virtual school and has really done well this way! This year the teacher will be coming to the house 1 day a week to do things with her. Maybe expanding her job duties 😉. Go Elizabeth have a Great year!
