Hazel is loving having a new foster sister to play her morning music to 💕
Hazel is playing Athena her morning music. Too bad Athena can't hear it. Jughead jumped up on the sofa because Athena tried to nurse on him 😳 This chonky girl is the cutest 🥰
Archie meets Hazel 💙 Archie was seen by our vet & his wittle belly is full of worms. Other than that, he is healthy. He is enjoying playing with Hazel but also wants to nurse her, poor baby.
One last run around the farm before going to her new home 🥹 Hazel is going to miss Cinnamon.
LEAPS & BOUNDS!!!
We have been teaching Cinnamon to wait her turn for treats. Each time I hand out treats, she wouldn't come near my pack. I had to go to her. Last night, she came to our circle & waited for her turn ❤️ This dog impresses me daily with her progress. There are still days where she doesn't want to come inside & days where she is stand offish. But those days a dwindling down 💕
These two have been playing for an hour. I guess they are too tired to stand up 😂 Cinnamon & Hazel Raelyn 💕
Cinnamon finally met Caleigh Coe today. She has seen her on the stairs to go upstairs, she has seen her on the sofa but always out of reach. Today, they were so close & Cinnamon was shaking. This is the most vocal that Cinnamon has been since we got her in December. I Sat on the stool with Caleigh & let Cinnamon stiff her. Then she tried to nibble on her 🤦
These two wear each other out. They play like this until they are exhausted. I find myself telling Hazel to calm down & then Cinnamon comes along & barrels over Hazel 🤦 They throw their bodies on the ground & look at each other & then get up & do it all over again. It is so heartwarming to see her play like this since she spent years alone.
Cinnamon is really coming out of her shell. She still gets nervous at times but she is doing amazing. She will not potty in the house but does chew things that she finds like a throw pillow if it's on the floor. She is learning that being in a home isn't that bad but she only stays inside for less than 30 minutes. We always go by what Cinnamon is comfortable with. Sometimes she is inside for 10 minutes & other times she'll stay for 30 minutes. We bring her inside several times a day to get her used to a home.
Cinnamon needs a person or family that will be patient with her & allow her to go at her own pace. She would do great with a playful dog. Cinnamon definitely needs a home with a fence. She is very content playing for 30 minutes 3-4 times a day & chilling the rest of the time. She enjoys her fan when she is outside & sleeps so peacefully when the fan is on. Cinnamon Update: This chic is making so much progress. I see her opening up & coming out of her shell every day. Today, she played with Hazel. The two of them had a blast. She still prefers to be outside but every day she comes inside & spends time with my fur babies. She is learning that being inside isn't that bad.
Cinnamon is looking for her furever home. She will require a fenced yard & a person/family that will be patient with her & allow her to move at her own pace.

When the daycare comes to the nursing home 🤣
***Dottie Sue (red dog) is not being aggressive. She is my mother dog. She teaches puppies how to behave.
We played dress up this morning. Sapphire is in red jammies, Delilah in pink and Hazel in purple. Poor Duke didn't get to dress up because I didn't have anything for him 🥺 It's safe to say Delilah was the only one who liked her jammies. Hazel went to the vet again yesterday. This sweet girl has been fighting for her life and this morning she woke up sassy and ready to play 💖 She was given IV fluids yesterday & some different meds for her diarrhea.
We are so thankful that we were able to get these 4 babies. They have all seen our vet. Sapphire was extremely lethargic on Thursday and Hazel has been fighting to get healthy since we got her on Friday .The other 3 siblings are doing wonderful & are in homes in Tampa.
