Today I worked with a Project Lead and her student for Avalon Employment’s mentorship program!
I didn’t realize it until I saw the thank you bag she gave me (in the picture) that October is “DEAM” - Disability Employment Awareness Month.

From the site: “The purpose of DEAM is to promote the employment of people with disabilities and to recognize and celebrate the contributions employees with disabilities make to the workforce. It’s also an opportunity for businesses and organizations to take proactive steps in ensuring their workplaces are accessible and inclusive.”

A great experience and of course Brick was the best helper for a demo grooming session 🥰
