Today makes 28 trips around the sun for me. I can’t think of a better community of supportive people to surround myself with and to share the beauty this little farm makes with. I’m super exctied to see what this upcoming year has to offer me and my lil business as we move into year five of Mountain State Flower Farm!!!!

Also a reminder I will be inside the Capitol Market - Charleston, WV tomorrow from 10-2 with bouquets. You definitely need to treat yourself after this hot week my friends.

My diet this week has been mainly popsicles with a lil bit of water and sweet treats, cause I deserve them if I’m dealing with this heat.

This is our week to be starting lots of fall goodies like those bright orange marigolds everyone eats up in September and October.

I’m planning on having some smoking hot bouquets at the Capitol Market - Charleston, WV this Saturday again for those who missed out last weekend.

Mother Nature is a funny girl for sure. I think she’s giving us some of the rain she forgot last summer to give us. Lucky some plants are loving the rain like this amazing bed of rudbeckia!!!!

I’ve never grown a better crop of this cheerful flower in all five years I’ve been growing cut flowers. If you want to get some of these in a mixed bouquet you can find them this Saturday inside the Capitol Market - Charleston, WV between 10-2.

10-2 today inside the Capitol Market - Charleston, WV the last of the peonies for 2025.

Thank you to everyone who signed up for my Peony CSA Subscription this year it’s been one of my favorites so far. If you want to soak up the last of spring make sure you get down to the market today before they are all gone.

Peony season is coming to an end like all good things unfortunately. But to celebrate the end of everyone’s favorite season I will be at the Capitol Market - Charleston, WV tomorrow Saturday morning from 10am-2pm. This will probably be your last chance to get ahold of peonies for the year so make sure you set that reminder to come to the market tomorrow and get the last of the season.

I will not be at the Capitol Market this weekend due to the bike races. So head over to one of these amazing small businesses and grab some flowers while they last.

Pizza Planet Crocs and Peonies I have to say are my favorite combo so far this year.

I’m getting back into the swing of things after a crazy busy week last week. Thank you all again so much for the out pour of support you sent my way. This week is typically pretty slow so seeds are getting started, weeds are being pulled and naps are being taken. I should be back to the swing of things next week.
