The girls went out on their first solo hunts!!!! They played and had fun til the first smell of bird…..then it was time to work!!!!
It was a great Sunday and lots of fun!!!!

Had a great day in the woods. We had 3 grouse flushes and 1 woodcock flush. Dogs held tight on the birds. Just a few bad shots by us 😂. Dogs also put some miles on the garmin today. Good day for a walk in the woods.

The hunting season is on this year. Just getting out in the woods and watching your dogs have a good time, and seeing the work they put in all off season will make every hunter smile.

The girls went to the hunt club Saturday and got on some pigeons!!!Look close. It’s hard to see them in the tall grass but they are out there using those noses!!! Bell flushed 2!!! Sue got on 1!
It was a very fun morning with them!!!

Mom had to work in the office yesterday and I sure missed these sweet moments!!!!

These two are doing amazing fitting in with the crew. We have been working on a good foundation with these two. We are learning recall, walking on a leash, crate training, potty training, and sit and stay during feeding times. These are important to use and building a foundation. When bringing new pups in to your home it can be a challenge to stay on top of building a foundation for them. Don’t get discouraged just try to stick with a plan and if that plan doesn’t work, try to switch up the way you train with different ideas to help you and your new pup to be successful. Took the girls out today to check stuff out!!!! Both girls jumped off the dock right into the river!! Jeff lost hold of Sue’s leash and had to venture down the river to grab her! 😆 Peep his wet shorts!!! Did a little trip to TSC and had a quick drink at Hanks!!!! I think today was a good day

Fireworks are hard on dogs. People just don’t understand. Here’s a simple way to make sure if an accident happens your baby makes its way back home where they belong.
