Best of all Bailey! Wow - Bailey is a 4 year old Pitt-mix. Upon my arrival, Bailey was waiting on the sofa until her PEOPLE released her to come greet me! A+, A+ - she waited at the door and she went her bed when told! Bailey's one and only problem was pulling on the leash - she had tremendous prey drive and they had allowed a taught leash for the last 4 years.. So we worked on leadership skills while walking (treats, praise, asking her to follow us and instead of visa-versa - AND switched up her collar.. SUCCESS - now she's perfect!😍

Stunning Sam! Sam is a 12 month old rescue from a kill shelter in NYC. His PEOPLE rescued him and he now has the pleasure of spending half of his time on a farm in Hopewell Township and half in the city! SAM is close to 100lbs and loving and trusting. DESPITE the cruelty he endured with someone cutting the top of one ear off and ATTEMPTING to cut off the other tip. 🤬!! We worked on leadership skills so Sam could feel safe - His PEOPLE did an excellent job - he is still adjusting to horses and greeting new people politely..lol.

Lovely Lizzie! Lizzie tries to convince you that she is lab, but she has a TON of Husky in her also - the tough part!😁 She thinks most things are a game (even corrections 😳). But soon we were able to establish "some" boundaries. Lizzzie needs CALM energy and clear direction. We changed up her collar for walking and success! Can't wait to work with this challenging dog and her PERSON again!

Ahhh Clover and Lilly - A set of BEAUTIFUL Goldens - owned by the sweetest couple - maybe too sweet... Clover is 6 months and wants to please - just needs clear boundaries - Lilly is 4 and has some anxiety issues and also needs clear boundaries and BOTH pups need to know who is the LEADER in the household! We worked on Leadership skills and making sure the dogs knew what was acceptable and what wasn't.. they both learned quickly with FLYING colors. Diagnosis - MORE Exercise - clear boundaries and some outings with distractions..they are going to be GREAT!

The BEST ever Bryce! Bryce is a rescue (large lab mix?) 4 months old and SWEET. His People have been working hard with him so far and just needed some formal training to get everyone on the same page. This truly was PEOPLE training, that puppy didn't take a step wrong😁. NOT JUST JoJo. This 4 year old Jack Russell greeted me at the door as if she knew me and I've been gone for YEARS!!😆 This was clearly PEOPLE training, JoJo was 100% on the obedience and I was feeling pretty great about ME... Until... I saw her fence running in the backyard barking at the neighbor's dog, or ANYTHING that walked by.. JoJo would literally die before she would stop.. I LOVE a challenge...stay tuned!!

Meet MAC the Border Collie. I personally love this breed, but they are not for the average dog owner. MAC had some excellent obedience but definitely too much enthusiasm at the door..so we asked him to go to his bed in the front hall while people entered and THEN he could be released for a polite HELLO. A few other small things, but , no doubt - they have this. THE BEST PART was visiting her neighbors goats...Hard to get pics cause they all want to sit in your lap..The most amazing experience greeting the MOMs and brand new babies..all friendly and sweet!🥰

AWWWWW - OBIE!! Wow, I love King Charles Spaniels. This 2 year old was in a situation where he needed a new home, and boy did he find one! A 12 acre farm (with 12 acres of invisible fence) and a Brittany Spaniel sister to play with. Obie came with some obedience commands, we just reinforced and set some boundaries about destroying the leather sofa and barking. What a cutie!!

Meet Buddy! Buddy is a rescue from the Trenton Animal Shelter. He has landed in a beautiful home with a loving person. As terriers can be, Buddy is now getting comfortable in his new home and starting to challenge his Person. Buddy was receptive to the training and mostly we worked with his Person on being more assertive and clear with the boundaries. I'm predicting success for this pair!

Charming Charlie! Charlie is a 1 year old Standard Poodle. Intelligent and sweet! Charlie was near perfect until just recently and he started "waking up" to the possibilities!! Sweet Carson! Carson is a two year old boxer mix rescue. He's been in several foster homes (no fault of his own!) and has landed in Pennington with a LOVELY family. They have only had him about a month and his PEOPLE understand that he needs; TONS of time to settle in. Great disposition, but his anxiety causes him to jump up and he is VERY reactive to dogs passing him on his walks. Obedience, a new training collar and letting Rosie help us with his leash reactivity all WENT WELL! Carson is a rock star, as the anxiety lowers, he will be an awesome family dog. Rescues need TIME.. there is NO rushing that process.

Lovely "Meadow". Meadow is a 1 year old Bernadoodle, (full sized). She is sweet and engaging and SMART. She is working on getting control over her long-long limbs. Her PEOPLE admit that she was an angel for a while and then started to test the boundaries -so they did the right thing by calling me! We worked on sit-stay - and leave it and then we had a training session in the back yard so that we could work on her Not ploughing down the kids when they play! Loved working with Meadow and her PEOPLE!

Ahhhh NOVA - yes as in Villa..WOW, had a hard time concentrating with this one, ADORABLE and sweet and eager to please. She is a 5 month old Bernadoodle. Her PEOPLE had done many things RIGHT~ just needed to get on the same page and start a formal program. We worked on leave it, sit and stay, and some preliminary walking on the leash..she was PERFECT! We finished with a playdate with Rosie so that her socialization skills were up to par! LOVE this little girl - they wouldn't let me take her home - mean people..🤣

Remember Finn? This is Finn and his person and the picture speaks 1000 words! Finn's person called me for a refresher to work on his leadership skills and gain some control over this very energetic and sweet dog. After finding the right "tools", they were 100% better in their communication and Finn's Person was able to start being a calm assertive Leader. It's important to get help when thing start going the other way - they are back on track!

Terrific Teddy! I love a challenge and Teddy did not disappoint!😂A 4 year old labradoodle with a lot of excess energy and some serious anxiety. Teddy was a “Covid” puppy and did not have the benefit of socialization during the crucial formative years. His people are all in. They will work on their leadership skills,MORE exercise and possibly a calming supplement. Looking forward to helping Teddy feel safe and calm!

I'm BAAACK!! Introducing my first Spring lesson with WREX!! Wrex is an Australian Labradoodle - 16 weeks.. He's sensitive (very), sweet and super smart! We did "leave it", sit and stay with Wrex. BAILEY!! Bailey is an 11 week old American Staffordshire Terrier (Pit bull😉).. Fierce and frightening in every way!! She bosses around her 80 pound brother Blue (another fierce and terrifying Pit Bull). All joking aside, two of the sweetest dogs you would ever encounter. Their people are doing a great job so far, just needed some information on setting boundaries. They admittedly said they dropped the ball with Blue and wanted to be sure they showed leadership and clear direction with Bailey. Could have held this puppy for another million hours!!!🥰

Happy Graduation to Rosie and her PEOPLE!! Rosie is still only 5 months and learned Sit/Stay/leave it/Coming when called/ and walking on a leash without pulling!! Is it perfect??? Absolutely not, but she has a clear understanding and more importantly, her PEOPLE have a clear understanding of how to TEACH and REFRESH these commands as she gets older and gains confidence!! LOVED this pup - reminded me of MY Rosie in many ways!

Happy Graduation Darling Dolly! Wow, a mix-pit rescue, sweet and eager to learn from the start! Her family was dedicated to her training and it paid off. At our last lesson we needed to reinforce the "no jumping" rule (with the family, NOT with Dolly😆), but other than that she is graduating with DISTINCTION, Loved spending time with her Lovely People also!

Spectacular Sunny. Boy this one was smart, at 11 weeks her PEOPLE had taught her Sit/ Stay and Leave it. She picked up on things so quickly, it shocked even ME! We talked about housebreaking, working on consistency, exercise and having her follow on a leash. This one was EASY!!!😍😍

My first Boston Terrier!! TUCKER. He is 7 months old and so so sweet! He is a WONDERFUL family dog and his PEOPLE just needed some ground rules for "cleaning up" his housebreaking issues and some basic obedience to create some boundaries and leadership.. This little guy was very sensitive and his mission was to stay "VERY STILL" when I worked with him.. A challenge to get him up so I could ask him to sit.. back..down..LOL. LOVED Tucker and his PEOPLE!!

This is Blue. A cattle dog mix rescue, (yes, with one eye). His PEOPLE have hearts of gold, they also adopted a deaf Boston Terrier. Well Folks, closest I've come to getting bit after training over 400 dogs. Blue was cautious from the start but was happy to take treats, tentatively. He warmed up to petting and scratching also.. when I went to take the leash, things got real. This guy has some history, and is also attacking the Boston Terrier. He has only been there 2 weeks so TIME might be the answer. He was excellent with obedience, but also has problems with resource guarding. So more leadership skills and setting boundaries. Patience and protecting the other pup, cautiously optimistic.🫣.

Meet "Senny" a 7 month old border collie mix. Seneca is VERY suspicious of people and surroundings. She was definitely not sure of ME! She naturally has a dominant personality and her PEOPLE were struggling with her jumping and nipping and barking at their guests. She needed structure and some clear leadership to let her know the boundaries. She responded to leadership well and seemed calmer when I left the lesson. Looking forward to seeing this girl's confidence improve when she knows her role in the household!!

ANOTHER Rosie!!! This Great Pyrenees mix is a big lovable CALM puppy.. she is very active mentally and training is just the answer for her. Her PEOPLE have done an excellent job this far. They had many of the right answers, (so Maybe I'm just reinforcements? :)). Rosie was a bit timid to be led on the leash, but she is only 2 weeks into her new family, so I'm sure her confidence will improve every day!

I LOVE MY JOB! This little muffin (miniature long haired dachshund, Rosie, slept on my lap for the lecture part of the lesson. I tried to stuff her in my pocket when I left..SOOO Rosie was having a few housebreaking issues and was ignoring her PERSON when she was called. WE started basic obedience and worked no-pressure recall in the backyard.. LOVE THIS PUP!!

Love me some Goldens! Meet Brody 8 months and (85 lbs)😱 and Willow 6 month old cutie. Their PEOPLE called because Brody had shown some resource guarding aggression and BOTH dogs needed some structure and boundary setting. After a bit of excitement at the door we explained that jumping was not polite. Their sit/stays were perfect, but we did some work on walking on a leash without pulling...more to come!

Meet Frenchies Chloe and George! Chloe is the 4 year old big sister, calm, skeptical and less than impressed...George is the year old enthusiastic little brother. They are both fabulous dogs, but just needed a little direction. Food motivated was an understatement, so it was easy to get their attention and we started some basic obedience training. Their PEOPLE are dedicated and motivated to move forward with their training!

Meet Lucy, my very first three-legged student! She is sweet, smart,strong and FAST! So looking forward to having her show me what she can do!!!

Check out Nala! Her family has a big fenced yard, but still have to take her out on a leash. If I hadn’t seen it with my own eyes I wouldn’t have believed it!! Changing her name to Houdini! Working on a solution!
