DELIGHTFUL Daisy!! Just about 6 months old, Daisy was rescued from a foster home the day before I met her. She is beautiful, a little submissive and sweet. Her PEOPLE are showering her with love as she gets acclimated to her new home. My most important message to them (after we covered all the basics) was to give her time to adjust and realize that her REAL personality will emerge when she feels comfortable and safe. Daisy and her PEOPLE are so lucky to have each other!!

Just Fantastic Jeter! Jeter is a 6 month old "doodle" dog. Jeter's PEOPLE live in Hoboken. Raising a city dog has its challenges and they have passed with flying colors!👏 We started with a phone session when they brought their little "bundle of joy" home. They followed instructions to the letter (not easy) and the results speak for themselves. We met last week for our first session. Jeter is trainable, smart and funny! His PEOPLE needed some training on Leadership; backing up commands and using a consistent tone. Jeter is well on his way to being a happy and well trained member of the family!!

Who couldn't Love LOLA?? Lola is a 8 pound mixed breed terrier. She greeted me with MAJOR enthusiasm, and then when I was able to back her up, I looked at those beautiful teeth!!😆. Lola's main problem was being reactive to people and bikers when on a leash.. Her PERSON needed some leadership skills and then took charge of keeping Lola moving or make a quick circle when she reacted aggressively.. Noticeable improvement in the first session. THAT face!!

MARTY! We had our second lesson and he was a true Rockstar! Marty learned how to come when called off leash for a treat and a pet (in a safe fenced yard)..and then we released him to play! Repeated this a few times until he KNEW that coming over to his PERSON was always FANTASTC! We learned to walk without pulling on the leash and he started to pay attention and WATCH his PERSON! LOVE Marty!

Meet CASH!! Cash is an 8 month old RED Golden Retriever, smart, sweet and STRONG. His PERSON had taken him to obedience classes but he still would try to pull her arm out of the socket when outside the classroom! It does not help that Cash and his owner weigh about the same..🤣. We switched up the collar and worked with his PERSON on leadership skills while walking on the leash.. At least 80% improvement the first lesson. This boy was bred for hunting and getting his attention outside proves challenging..Work in Progress!!

I am very behind on my posts - but COOPER is no less important! Cooper is a 15 week golden doodle puppy with ENDLESS energy. I am sure I frightened his Person with my first visit by describing HOW MUCH exercise it would take to keep COOPER happy and lower his adrenaline so he has the ability to learn, listen and be a good boy. Cooper learns quickly but he is still a bit of a "whirling dervish"..with leash work. We did Sit and Stay and then worked on walking on a leash - a work in progress, but he will be fantastic as a gets appropriate exercise and calm, steady leadership!

Meet Marvelous MARTY! Truly a Heinz 57 according to his DNA..😆Wow, an angel since I walked in the door, just a few nervous jumps up, but other than that, a bit timid and lovable!!! His PEOPLE would like Marty to come when called, so we are starting with the basics of leadership! I have high expectations for Mary and his PEOPLE.

CLEMENTINE! a 4 month old cavapoo, full of sass and energy and super sweet! Her people have their hands full with 3 kids under the age of 7! Remember - puppies are like children and almost as much work - but this family is up for the task! Housebreaking was the MAJOR issue and then we worked a little on setting boundaries and sit/stay. This should be fun!
