He is searching for somewhere to live out his best years that will make up for his past prior to rescue. Max would excel in a quiet environment and some space that is specifically for him to go when he needs to decompress. 🚨LAID BACK NAP QUEEN LOOKING TO FILL THE SPOT ON YOUR LAP AND THE SMALL DOG SIZED HOLE IN YOUR HEART🚨

This is FOXY! She is a precious milk chocolate colored Chiweenie with some gorgeous tan and white colorations on her chest and face: In the movie Nemo, Nemo has a lucky fin that is just a little extra special due to its small size and deformation. Well Foxy doesn’t have a lucky fin, butttt she DOES have a lucky eye t! As you can see from her photos one of her eyes is smaller in size and has cataracts. We are unsure if she was born with this or this is a product of her past but either way little miss is not bothered in the slightest by it and it does not hinder her in any way. She likes to be with her people when she can. She is not a fan of children and due to past experiences being neglected she is also not a huge fan of men. So we would love to find her a momma or lady only household where she can thrive and be stress free. Foxy is so ready for her chance at forever, please consider giving her that chance!!

Meet Soda Pop – Your New Shadow, Snuggle Buddy, and Occasional Garden Excavator who is looking for a FOSTER-TO-ADOPT home!

Soda Pop is a 6-year-old, 10lb, black-and-tan long-haired piebald dachshund with model-worthy looks and the soul of a professional napper. He’s photogenic enough to be on a coffee table book cover, but prefers being under the blanket next to you.

This little gentleman has excellent manners where it counts: he tolerates nail trims, baths, grooming, medications, and vet visits like a champ (truly a rare dachshund feat). He also thinks the car is his personal limo—he’ll nap in the back or stand like a prince to take in the scenery. And his crate? He adores it. Think of it as his luxury condo.

Now, Soda Pop has had some bumps along the way. He came from a tough situation and, despite being clearly loved once before, required multiple life-saving surgeries. (He even lost 8 inches of intestine—don’t worry, his love of food and treats remains intact.) More recently, he’s been battling back pain, which means he’s currently on doctor-ordered crate rest with only brief leashed potty breaks. He’ll need more time to heal and will likely always need an adopter committed to managing dachshund back issues. Translation: his forever family will need the resources, patience, and quiet home he deserves.

Soda Pop’s ideal lifestyle looks like this: one calm household, preferably without children or other dogs jostling him around, and an owner who finds joy in long naps, late mornings, early nights, and gentle companionship. He’ll happily dig tiny “I’m still a wild beast” holes in the yard, supervise the birds, or plot against the occasional possum. He’s also quite fluent in selective hearing—ignores his name, but sometimes responds to a whistle. Very dachshund.

His dislikes are minimal: mainly being woken up before he’s ready. (He’ll grumble like a tiny old man, but it’s all bark, no bite.)

At heart, Soda Pop is sweet, affectionate, and easy to love. He’ll shower you with kisses, curl up quietly at your side, and remind you that the best things in life are small, stubborn, sausage-shaped, and snuggly.
