‼️‼️URGENT PLEA‼️‼️ My rescue friends, my cousin works in the oil and gas industry and these kittens were born on location. Unbeknownst to everyone, the kittens were inside one of the pieces of equipment. The rig moved (close to Laredo) and the momma was left behind. My cousin is doing his best to bottle feed them and trying his best to keep them alive. This is an URGENT plea to help them survive. If anyone has a nursing momma or room to take them in, I can coordinate transport.

Amazing! This is what a true rescue transporter accomplished in one year….one of the hardest years in Texas rescue.

I'm a little late with the 2023 wrap up. It was one of the hardest, if not the hardest, years I've seen my rescue partners go through. There was a lot of loss and financial hardship. There was frustration, hurt, and overwhelming sorrow.

Yet there was also joy. There was a hope, there was light, and there was love. 2,254 at risk South Texas animals (1,355 dogs, 897 cats, and 2 bunnies) boarded the Bus north to dozens of rescue partners. Fosters, shelter volunteers, networkers, donors, coordinators, ACOs, shuttle drivers, and more came together each week, sometimes multiple times each week, to make magic happen and wishes come true.

I value every one of you and wish you all the best in 2024. Here's to more second chances!
