"He’s such a good boy!"
My husband and I say this at least 10 times a day—and honestly, it’s true!
Sparky is the perfect mix of BUSY BEE and LIFE OF THE PARTY:
BUSY BEE – He’s naturally playful, curious, and trusting. He loves having a job to do, whether it’s a long walk, exploring new smells, or simply staying busy around the house. But when the day winds down? He’s more than happy to curl up in front of the fire with you.
LIFE OF THE PARTY – Sparky finds joy in everything! If you’re doing something, he wants to be part of it—always up for fun, always full of surprises. Life with him is energetic, unpredictable in the best way, and never boring.
Most of the day, Sparky is a loving, snuggly sweetheart. He looks at you with those big, soulful eyes, and your heart melts.
But he’s also young, full of energy, and has a big zest for life. Sparky needs daily exercise—walks, hikes, or playtime at the dog park. Once he’s had his fun, he settles beautifully into a calm, relaxed pup..
He’s super bright and learns quickly. He already knows our routines—after breakfast, he waits patiently while I work. But the moment I start getting dressed, he knows it’s go-time! That’s usually when he likes to bark at me to tell me I’m not moving fast enough.
We’re currently working on leash skills. Sparky is a strong puller at first, especially if he spots a cute critter, but usually calms down after 5–10 minutes. He missed out on some early training, so he’ll thrive with someone willing to continue that journey.
More Sparky Highlights:
*Sleeps soundly all night in his crate, and in the morning, he waits quietly for us to let him out
*Affectionate and snuggly once he is out of his crate
*Such a happy boy, his tail is always wagging
*Doing all his business outside
*Loves his big dog bed and cleans his food bowl at every meal
*Occasionally asks to be a lap dog, but usually prefers the floor
*Treat-motivated and knows "sit"; currently learning "wait" and door manners
*Does not bark at people or other dogs during walks
*Friendly with both men and women; loves meeting new people
*Rides well in the car
*Not a fan of bath time (but he tolerates it!)
*Enjoys the dog park and plays well, though still learning social boundaries
*Loves being outside with us—whether lying in the grass or sniffing everything in sight
*Still learning body awareness and how to control his big, enthusiastic energy
Sparky is an absolute joy—a goofy, loving, loyal pup with so much potential.
